Vanitas
She enters in the house like normal but upon seeing the time, she lets out a small curse.]
Oh shite, it's my turn to cook tonight.
[Mira's mentally kicking herself but maybe everyone will be fine with soup. Halone knows a certain someone will be eating the stuff for some time. She shakes her head for a moment-did the room spin in front of her or was that just her? Meh, seems to be alright.]
no subject
Vanitas still refuses to think on what that might mean.
He's taking
yet anothernap when Mira enters the house. Van jumps a little, startled and disoriented for a few seconds until he realizes who is talking and what is going on. His eyes narrow. ]Mira.
[ What is she going on about now? ]
no subject
Oh, Vanitas! Is aught amiss?
[Is probably unaware that she might be the problem.]
no subject
[ Despite how tired he has been lately - and Van has no idea why the amount of sleep he needs keeps increasing - he hauls himself up to approach Mira. ]
I think so. You're running around like the world is coming to an end. Then you should up worrying about dinner of all thinks and not even for yourself.
[ Okay so Vanitas has problems with people being absolutely self-sacrificing. ]
no subject
There has been more of a need lately and since I can make decent potions, they can use the help. It is not a big worry for me to take on a few things at the same time, 'tis normal for me.
[And yet she leans against the wall and slightly gripping on the side. It's fine.]
But what about you? How are you feeling?

Emet-Selch (ShB Spoilers from here on out)
What Mira could do now is do her best to take care of their housemate still recovering from the malicious attack from those highborn bastards. But it's weird; ever since they tested out how far could feelings go between their tether, Mira's felt much more raw. Was it an effect? Tired as she may be, it still did not stop her from working and keeping an eye on him, making sure she did that before anything else like nap for maybe half a bell.
There were a lot of short naps but not enough rest. It's fine.
This time when she checks in on Hades, she brings tea along since it has a better taste than water. She knocks first before peeking inside, hoping she didn't do anything like wake him up on accident.]
no subject
His Bonds going from smothered to whole again was a thing, particularly with Mira due to their experiences before everything had gone to hell. His response, though, had been to try to close off from it again, block up his side as much as possible. Everything was too raw, it felt as though he'd been scraped out in several ways, and he wasn't at all sure what was even left. It was better to recoil from it, deal with it on his own (or not deal with it, more likely).
Emet-Selch wasn't exactly known for having the best coping methods.
He had been lying down when Mira peers in, resting on his side facing the door, but he hadn't been asleep. Too many thoughts for that, and what better time to ruminate on them but alone and in the dark. Recognizing the outline of her, the Ascian sighs, still feeling that mix of wanting the company, but not wanting to be bothered. And though he calls out to her to let Mira know he was awake, he doesn't try to sit up.]
...What is it now?
[He does sound tired. Not the tired of recently awoken, just- tired. But then, they all were these days. As focused as he was on his own suffering, he wasn't entirely oblivious.]
no subject
Why was it that she found something good, fate had to hit her back into the dirt? Those bastatds better face execution, she swears.]
Thought you would like something different than water for once.
[Tea usually helps and she hopes the familiar Ishgardian style would help in some way.]
no subject
...most of them, anyway. Mira, bringing him tea, probably didn't qualify.]
It's not necessary.
[But he slowly pushes himself up into a sitting position, trying not to wince. Moving still wasn't comfortable, even if everything was on the mend, at least physically. That Mira was harboring any feelings about not being able to get to him earlier doesn't even occur to him. Being rescued at all wasn't something he'd taken for granted, and not only because he'd assumed he'd be killed before anyone tried.
As... friendly as they were here, every Warrior had still put him to the sword. It was one thing to claim of caring when nothing was required of you, it was another to protect someone you'd once killed, and would do so again. Emet-Selch still couldn't quite come to grips with the contradiction.]
...But I suppose I'll try it, if you've already made it.

Fordola
So she comes over with a healthy amount of homemade soup, some bread, and tea, hoping it would be enough. Strange though, she couldn't recall it being this heavy...
Finding where she lived, Mira then knocks on the door hoping the other is in. She has to be after what she went through, right?]
no subject
But now? Well, she had accepted the invitation. But she opened the door a little hastily, hands a little too tight on the doorknob. ]
--come in. [ It was said a little too hastily. She wanted to close the door, make sure nobody else could get in. ]
no subject
Thanks. How are you faring?
[Besides the obvious. Was it her or did her bag slightly shake a little?]
no subject
[ That was barely an answer, Fordola knew, as she fell to all fours - moving to sniff at the bag. Usually, she wouldn't let herself falter like this, but she smelled something... interesting in there. ]

Irhya
Outside in the backyard of House Darkness stands a sturdy striking dummy, having a few good nicks in it from use but given most of the residents are users of swords, it certainly helps. Just like what Mira is doing now and lashing out at the poor thing with Shadowbringer. At least this thing won't try and threaten her if she stabs them like some of those nobles. Just the thought of them makes the dark knight push harder and yell out her frustrations.
She could use a buddy to talk to maybe. Or a buddy who can also swing their sword at this poor striking dummy once finished.]
no subject
Heh. There'll be nothing left of the thing by the time I get a blow on it.
[She's still not smiling, despite the usual dry sarcasm in her tone.]
no subject
Damn.
[She still feels rage deep within but maybe she can take a tiny breather as she pulls her sword out and turns away. Blinking, she spots her fellow Bondmate and dark knight with her sword in the distance, waving her over.]
Still standing if you need a few good strikes in.
no subject
[The reason for her hesitation is unclear; perhaps she's afraid it will just create an echo chamber of anger and frustration between the two of them, or simply too tired to think of taking it all out on a dummy. It's far less satisfying, besides.]
Will you be all right?

K'rihnn
However, there is one big deal with she does notice as she is walking by...a certain cat-dragon who is out and about. And to her knowledge, should be in bed.]
K'rihnn?
[Ok seriously, if it comes to it, she will yeet him into his paramour's bed to try and keep him down.]
CW: talk of injuries and eye injuries | BUT SIIIIIIIS
Ah... Mira, hello.
[At least he looks better than when the Exarch and the rest of the rescue team found him. It's all mostly covered up by his clothes, save for his back. His wings are still clearly on the mend from being broken, and he still has to be careful to not make his ribs ache more than they already do. The most prominent, though, is the gauze taped down his scarred eye.]
H-how are you today...?
BOI WHY ARE YOU NOT IN BED
I should be asking you that. Considering you have been greatly injured, 'tis a surprise to see you walking around when you should be resting.
[Boi, you in trouble.]
INCOHERENT WAILING
... I... felt restless. Cooped up in the house all day. I thought... maybe I could handle going out to the library right quick, just to get something to do.
[The Dragon sighs softly as his tail twitches in slight agitation, mostly because of nerves.]
I didn't want to bother anyone to get them for me. Raha's been overworking himself, Rose is... hiding, for lack of a better word, and... well... you've been working yourself to near sickness. So... I thought I could do at least this one thing on my own....
[And he would've been fine, until he got caught.]

Rose
As to what kind of books? Mira just grabbed any she could because she had no idea what Rose preferred.
Hopefully when she knocks on the door to where she is staying, nothing crazy will happen.]
no subject
[...At least, that’s what she says. If pressed, she might begrudgingly admit that she’s still afraid to go outside. But that’s a conversation for another day.]
[When the door knocks, she opens it, only to find Mira on the other side. Rose doesn’t look particularly happy or sad, mostly tired, but it’s still good to see a friend. A friend bringing food, even.]
Mira.
[She pauses, not sure what to say next. What is the appropriate response to seeing a friend after being kidnapped?]
Thank you for stopping by.
no subject
Of course, I wanted to see how you were doing. And with some Ishgardian stew as well; thought it might help.
[As well as the bag of books. To Mira, 'some' means 'a bag full']
I didn't know what you preferred so I brought a variety. Will it be alright?
no subject
I appreciate that. I’ve missed Ishgard recently, and I’m sure this is delicious.
[Where’s her biting sarcasm? It’s like she’s a different person.]
I’m sure it will. Would you like to come inside?
