[Being sure to ask before coming over, Mira packs up some simple food fare for the woman. Despite their opposing views, Fordola has been nothing but kind to Mira minus the usual grumpiness but that's always a given. Hmm, maybe there's something that makes her gravitate towards the type given the company she keeps.

So she comes over with a healthy amount of homemade soup, some bread, and tea, hoping it would be enough. Strange though, she couldn't recall it being this heavy...

Finding where she lived, Mira then knocks on the door hoping the other is in. She has to be after what she went through, right?]

[fordola]

[ For the last while, Fordola hadn't been able to do anything but try and hold herself together.

But now? Well, she had accepted the invitation. But she opened the door a little hastily, hands a little too tight on the doorknob. ]

--come in. [ It was said a little too hastily. She wanted to close the door, make sure nobody else could get in. ]

[It'll be alright, Mira knows she wasn't followed and quickly goes inside and being careful with her cargo.]

Thanks. How are you faring?

[Besides the obvious. Was it her or did her bag slightly shake a little?]

[fordola]

...Injuries are healin'.

[ That was barely an answer, Fordola knew, as she fell to all fours - moving to sniff at the bag. Usually, she wouldn't let herself falter like this, but she smelled something... interesting in there. ]

Oh, it is just some soup and bread I have made-

[Now she sees the moving bag more and sets it down, kneeling to get a better look.]

What in Halone's name...?

[She untucks the fabric a bit and out pops a small gaelkitten head, shaking and mewling at the two women while shocking her owner.]

Breezy?! How did you get in there without me seeing?!

[fordola]

[ Fordola can't hold back a soft mew back at the gaelikitten, her expression oddly soft. Almost kind. Before she shakes her head, trying to hold herself back. ]

...Maybe 'ey didn't wanna be left at home alone.

[But there is people there strange enough. Breezy in the meantime while Mira takes her out of the bag, puts both of her front paws on Fordola's face in greeting as the cat slave checks on the food. Ok, not messed up.]

Or mayhap she wished to see new faces. Breezy isn't used to staying in one place most of time. I think she's saying hello to you.

[ And Fordola can't help it - she tries to lick at Breezy, in a casual way. Purring a little from her throat. ]

Seems it, huh. This life's a lot different then any of us are used to.

[Did she just-? Honestly, she's just glad that the soldier has a setting other than 'grump'. Meanwhile Breezy likes this new friend person and mews in reply, giving Fordola a headbutt. Aww, that's sweet.]

She likes you too. Are you hungry or should I set this aside and keep it warm until you are?

[fordola]

[ It would be surprising to her as well, if she wasn't currently flopping on her side. Before trying to give a serious face, before returning the headbutt with a slight bap at the other. ] 'm still hungry. Don't judge me.

Why would I judge?

[It's with a small smile as she gets out the things needed for the soup, watching the gaelkitten and griffin play of sorts. It wouldn't hurt to come over and bring her for visits sometimes now, would it?]

[fordola]

Because it's savage.

[ It was soft, though. It was cute. And she continued to play in her softest way. ]
