[...At least, that’s what she says. If pressed, she might begrudgingly admit that she’s still afraid to go outside. But that’s a conversation for another day.]
[When the door knocks, she opens it, only to find Mira on the other side. Rose doesn’t look particularly happy or sad, mostly tired, but it’s still good to see a friend. A friend bringing food, even.]
Mira.
[She pauses, not sure what to say next. What is the appropriate response to seeing a friend after being kidnapped?]
Thank you for stopping by.

Of course, I wanted to see how you were doing. And with some Ishgardian stew as well; thought it might help.
[As well as the bag of books. To Mira, 'some' means 'a bag full']
I didn't know what you preferred so I brought a variety. Will it be alright?
no subject
I appreciate that. I’ve missed Ishgard recently, and I’m sure this is delicious.
[Where’s her biting sarcasm? It’s like she’s a different person.]
I’m sure it will. Would you like to come inside?
no subject
Hopefully this may bring a bit of city to you; finding ingredients that matched was an adventure in itself.
[And yet Mira smiles. It's worth it as long as it makes another happy. That and it was actually fun.]
I would like to; tis best served warm.

I can only imagine. Hopefully, none of them will accidentally turn us into frogs.
[Rose chuckles lightly before gesturing Mira inside. Rose’s room is...not near, persay, but not messy either. Cluttered would be the best word. There are several sketchbooks opened with half-drawings, and many plants lining the shelves.]
Please come in.

[It's when she enters that she takes notice of the sketchbooks first and how much of the room is filled with plant life. Reminds her of the Black Shroud to be honest.]
Oh! Are you an artist perchance? [Gesturing to the sketches.]
no subject
[She takes out a chair for Mira to sit in before she shrugs, eyeing the art books. There’s at least one benefit to being stuck here, if seems.]
I’m not sure I would go that far. I used to dabble in it. Being the Warrior of Light didn’t give me much time for my hobbies.

[But still even as she sits and takes out the food, Mira can't help but admire the sketches.]
These are rather nice.
no subject
Precious little.
[She looks back at the notebook in Mira's hand.]
Thank you. There was a time I dreamed of sketching Eorzea, but I'm afraid I'm dreadfully out of practice.

There is time now, isn't there? If it is something you enjoy, why not take it one day at a time?
[As for her, the one thing she enjoys doing requires a place and the endurance to want to read all the things.]
no subject
[And by 'feeling' she means 'exactly the same twelvesdamned thing that's happened every time she thought she'd get a vacation.']
no subject
[Falling asleep at Fortemps Manor and suddenly here. Except this is no dream.]
It is not a bad thing to simply wish to read all the books one finds and assume it relaxing, is it?
no subject
Yes. I fear returning home to find that my loved ones have been tempered in my absence. Or worse.
[She frowns.]
I don’t think so, no.
