Yeah he didn't think this through. He DOES get one off?? But then he proceeds to just fall back in the process of trying to get the other one off. Crashing into a bush. Safe landing or something. ]

So, she could probably have been a little less flippant.

But then he just goes for it and flops back into...the fucking bushes. Because he's so, so graceful.

Frozen mid-sentence, Sypha gawks at Trevor, hanging ass-first out of a push.]

[And then she's rushing to disentangle him, grabbing him by the arms and hauling backwards. And probably dangerously overbalancing herself.]

[ Yeah this is just... all sorts of going wrong. Grabbing him by the arms and hauling him back? So not good for either of their balance and there's a bit of twisting and maybe swearing under his breath as he just... flops back with her. One boot off. One boot on. Leaves in his hair and soggy cloak. ]

Because she flops back, overburdened by his weight, landing right on her ass with him on top.]

[ Well, so much for being a man of grace or something?? Yeah. But when he realizes he's fallen on top of her, he pulls back just enough to look to her, concern in his eyes. Pretty sure he didn't hear a snap or anything. ]

[She looks up, bewildered and a bit sore, but otherwise fine. Nodding her head, she gives Treffy a gentle look.

[ They sure are close. So close, in fact, that Trevor just... slowly pulls back, meaning to give her some space, hand coming up to rub at the back of his neck as he falls back on his haunches. ]

[Sypha slowly rises up too, propping herself on her hands and looking up at him.]

But... we should probably catch up to Alucard. He'll think we... I don't know... got eaten or something.

He'll be okay for a minute more.

[He will, she promises. Partially because she has something she wants to say to him.]

...I wanted to catch you away from him a moment though. Because when we get back to town, I want to officially bond.

Oh. Sure.

[ Right, they... still gotta do that. ]

I told Alucard about it and he seems fine with it. [ Although like he would have any reason not to be?? ] So whenever you want, we'll go to the Coven and... do the bonding thing.

Good. There's one more thing too, Trevor. I want you to hold still for a moment.

[Then, without waiting, and quick as a viper, she moves. Sypha puts a hand around Trevor's neck and pulls him closer. Then zips up, kissing him gently on the cheek.]

[ Alright, so. On a list of things he didn't expect... that's definitely one of them. And he just. Sort of kneels there. Blinking. Confused. Because... what?? Did Alucard SAY SOMETHING?? Jesus Christ... ]

[She smiles at him now, no mischief. No...trouble. For once.]

I kissed Alucard, and wanted to kiss you too.

[ Alright. Scratch that. This is maybe a lot more something he didn't expect and it sure as hell shows on his face as he just. Takes a second. To process that. ]
