[She looks up, bewildered and a bit sore, but otherwise fine. Nodding her head, she gives Treffy a gentle look.

Listen, you're very close, okay.]

[ They sure are close. So close, in fact, that Trevor just... slowly pulls back, meaning to give her some space, hand coming up to rub at the back of his neck as he falls back on his haunches. ]

Sorry. Didn't mean to, you know... take you down with me.

[Sypha slowly rises up too, propping herself on her hands and looking up at him.]

It's fine.

[Really.]

You're okay?

Yeah.

[ With an awkward glance to her. ]

But... we should probably catch up to Alucard. He'll think we... I don't know... got eaten or something.

[strongspirited]

He'll be okay for a minute more.

[He will, she promises. Partially because she has something she wants to say to him.]

...I wanted to catch you away from him a moment though. Because when we get back to town, I want to officially bond.

[ Right, they... still gotta do that. ]

I told Alucard about it and he seems fine with it. [ Although like he would have any reason not to be?? ] So whenever you want, we'll go to the Coven and... do the bonding thing.

Good. There's one more thing too, Trevor. I want you to hold still for a moment.

[Then, without waiting, and quick as a viper, she moves. Sypha puts a hand around Trevor's neck and pulls him closer. Then zips up, kissing him gently on the cheek.]

[ Alright, so. On a list of things he didn't expect... that's definitely one of them. And he just. Sort of kneels there. Blinking. Confused. Because... what?? Did Alucard SAY SOMETHING?? Jesus Christ... ]

[She smiles at him now, no mischief. No...trouble. For once.]

I kissed Alucard, and wanted to kiss you too.

[Duh.]

[ Alright. Scratch that. This is maybe a lot more something he didn't expect and it sure as hell shows on his face as he just. Takes a second. To process that. ]

Sorry- what? You... kissed Alucard?

[She smirks a little.]

[ For the record... that sounds really weird??? Yeah. ]

Why were you looking at his... desire or whatever? Why was he looking at yours?

[ He's confused. REALLY CONFUSED among other things and just... sighs then, hand coming up to rub over his face. ]

Actually, I don't want to know. I just want to go back. I'm tired.

[ And he just gets himself up then, soggy cloak around him. ]

[ He doesn't look to Sypha as she reveals such a thing to him. Instead, he looks anywhere BUT to her. Finally, he shrugs, a hand waved as he turns. ]

Like I said. I'm tired and we need to do your Bond. So we should get going.

Do you...does it bother you that I kissed you?

[ He pulls his soggy cloak around him a little tighter, slooowly starting to make his leave down the path. ]

[But now, she's annoyed. Maybe a little hurt. So, she pulls up her hood and stalks past.]

[ He's seen that face. Well... sort of?? But he knows she's annoyed and when she stalks past him, he can't help but feel something within his chest sink a little. Fuck. Why does he suck so bad at this?

He picks up his steps to come up behind her a little. Afraid to come up beside her in case she sets his ass on fire or something. ]

I'm... getting the feeling you're mad at me.

Maybe I am, because I just told you that I have strong feelings for you...and you just said you did not care.

[She hasn't quite got the hang of setting asses on fire yet though, he's lucky.]

You could have just given me one of the many different grunts in your vocabulary and I would have accepted that. But you don't care.

[ WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN??? Or... unless she's talking about that pool of desire crap... oh. But he still comes to step around in front of her and block her way. ]

You told me you kissed Alucard and saw his desire?

But when she clarifies what she means because apparently Trevor fucking needs that done in the moment, he just... stares to her. Silent. Thoughts tumbling away over what he himself saw within that stupid pool of desire. Because that's what it is. It's stupid and it's caused him to kiss Alucard and for Sypha to kiss Alucard and now Sypha to peck his cheek and... can they all just blame that stupid pool for this?? He'd like it. He really really would.

But he also knows the things he said to Alucard. The things he had been... trying to forget and he just... sighs. Fingers pinching the bridge of his nose. ]

I... know. I'm sorry.

[Sometimes, she is not sure.]

Is it that hard for you to understand that I care? I know you're a wreck, inside. You've been burned a lot. But please remember that I'm not going anywhere. And I care about you, a lot.

[Right now, that's not one of those times. She knows he needs help.]

[ Does he want to go into this? Not really. But it just feels like the right thing to do? Or he's so fucking tired of keeping it all in. ]

...I was trying to forget you. [ That sounds bad. ] I was trying to forget how you made me feel like I wasn't alone. Like I could be something more than whatever drunken mess I was.

[ As he talks, he paces a little. ]

Because I didn't know if I'd ever have someone like that who could make me feel that way or like I mattered or something. So if I just forgot about you, forgot about whatever it was I felt, then... it wouldn't hurt so bad with being here.

[ A gentle admission there. ]

But now you're here and I... missed you? But I don't want to see you end up beaten and tortured or turned into something you hate and you're kissing Alucard and kissing me and maybe I feel jealous now but I kissed that asshole as well and I don't know what the fuck is going on except that I'm becoming a vampire and going to die.

[Sypha lets him finish. She's quiet the whole way through, her expression turning fairly serious.]

...I know you missed me. I know you don't want to see me get hurt.

[The mention of torture, well, it's something she's beginning to connect the dots on. He doesn't want to talk about something big. Sounds like he probably was one of the abducted, but now is not the time to bring that up.]

But I know you also don't want to be alone. And I know you care about me. And I care about you. Come what may, you're stuck with me.
