[closed] Bonding Date? Bonding Date!

Who: Caren & Enkidu
When: backdated to the 12th
Where: Inside an inn
What: Cu set them up to talk bonding things
Warnings: none

[Enkidu sits down and places their hands on the table. If they are correct she wanted to make apologies and Cu insisted for them to meet. So here they are.]

I am quite sure there is nothing you have to apologize about. At least...as far as I know.

[Now they lean forward a little only to tap their chin briefly.]

Hmm, I also do not really care for apologies.

He has a good heart. He's just a little...stupid, sometimes.

[She says it fondly enough, since well, he can be rather razor sharp about things she misses. She's still surprised, hearing that Enkidu had seen Gil in such a form.

But then...friends like them shared everything, didn't they...?]

If it helped, it was a highly unusual circumstance. I don't have the circuits to be a Master but-him and one other were inherited contracts.

He wasn't fighting the one one fights for a Grail War. It was after the War had completed. Or...it was supposed to complete.

[It's very strange. But the whole thing was strange.]

From the records I found, he managed to stay in the world for ten years. They were friends, even partners in crime, as much as they could be. There was an understanding.

I understand too, that Gilgamesh wasn't summoned originally by that person. They were originally the Master of Assassin, but somehow they chose each other.

[It sounds more romantic then it was, she thinks. But it is true.]
showsnopiety: (who did this)

You worried for him, did you?

[It's very much love and devotion.

And...she's jealous, a little. But Gil earned it, somehow. Earned their friendship by...being a friend, as much as he could.]

Gilgamesh...I knew him only for a short time, compared to the friend, compared to you. But...he's always been the sort to thrive, somehow.

[Just don't tell him she said that, ever.]
showsnopiety: (oh so many)

It's a rather human thing, from what I understand. To worry for those yo care for, wanting to know they're happy even if you're not there.

And Gilgamesh stands tall. But that doesn't mean he'd be happy.
showsnopiety: (you killed someone)

[She sighed a little. She never thought she'd see a hero well...hero worship another like this. But then again, Enkidu's and Gilgamesh's friendship was etched deep into the fiber of their beings.]

He had moments of happiness, as people do. He was able to play with the children, as a child and as an adult. I think that's where I saw him the most happy- playing games, providing them with toys, and so on.

I like to think so.

[Even thinking back...he wasn't the same person she read about in various records.]

Ah...that. His former master, the one he was companions with...he died.

There's conflicting reports on how, but it was during the Grail War. You know how it can be. Even if they were a healer, and a master combatant...you never know what to expect.
showsnopiety: (it's like)

[personal profile] showsnopiety 2020-03-15 09:15 am (UTC)(link)
Great...great is a word, certainly.

[Ah, to speak well of that man...of That Man...the things she does for Gilgamesh and Enkidu. Her tail twitched slowly, before slowly sighing.]

He was a Priest, someone who was trusted well in the Church. A Priest whose mystic code was considered a miracle by God...someone who was considered skilled in various forms of combat, and in magecraft, he was known for being a healer.

But...I am not sure I am the best person to say what kind of man he was, or wasn't.
showsnopiety: (Papa I know)

I know him from his journals, from observation of others, but I never met him in person.

And, by all accounts, he is someone...I don't view in the best light. So, I could not give an unbiased opinion of him, as I should.
showsnopiety: (broken down)

Thank you for respecting this.

[Though hearing that...She winces slightly.]

It may be best if you don't. They would not be popular here.

[To put it nicely.]
