[closed] Bonding Date? Bonding Date!
Who: Caren & Enkidu
When: backdated to the 12th
Where: Inside an inn
What: Cu set them up to talk bonding things
Warnings: none
[Enkidu sits down and places their hands on the table. If they are correct she wanted to make apologies and Cu insisted for them to meet. So here they are.]
I am quite sure there is nothing you have to apologize about. At least...as far as I know.
[Now they lean forward a little only to tap their chin briefly.]
Hmm, I also do not really care for apologies.

And Gilgamesh stands tall. But that doesn't mean he'd be happy.

[It is something they believe in. It instills hope inside of them. Gil will be well, wherever he is. Still that doesn't mean that they do not miss him, that they do not worry for him.
In fact, they fret a lot.]
Has he been happy when he was your servant?
no subject
He had moments of happiness, as people do. He was able to play with the children, as a child and as an adult. I think that's where I saw him the most happy- playing games, providing them with toys, and so on.

[And that makes them very happy. After all, Gil deserves to move forward, to allow himself to forget the past.]
What made him sad?

[Even thinking back...he wasn't the same person she read about in various records.]
Ah...that. His former master, the one he was companions with...he died.
There's conflicting reports on how, but it was during the Grail War. You know how it can be. Even if they were a healer, and a master combatant...you never know what to expect.

[Slowly they lean forward.]
Tell me more about him. What kind of man was he? For Gil to care in such a way... As if he has been his friend.
no subject
[Ah, to speak well of that man...of That Man...the things she does for Gilgamesh and Enkidu. Her tail twitched slowly, before slowly sighing.]
He was a Priest, someone who was trusted well in the Church. A Priest whose mystic code was considered a miracle by God...someone who was considered skilled in various forms of combat, and in magecraft, he was known for being a healer.
But...I am not sure I am the best person to say what kind of man he was, or wasn't.

[The look on Enkidu's face turns a little bit more curious.]
Didn't you know him well?
no subject
And, by all accounts, he is someone...I don't view in the best light. So, I could not give an unbiased opinion of him, as I should.
no subject
[It is more a conclusion than a question.]
Worry not, I will respect that decision. Perhaps he will be able to tell the story himself one day.
no subject
[Though hearing that...She winces slightly.]
It may be best if you don't. They would not be popular here.
[To put it nicely.]
no subject
Gil's Master. The one who became his friend.
What did that Master do to be seen as someone who will not be popular?]
Hmm. [They sip their beer.] I hope you will tell me of him one day. Perhaps if we decide to bond. [Because that is all up in the air for now...]
