[Sora pats his chest with a determined look on his face.]

We're both your bondmates, right? So I think it's a great idea that we all hang out together.

[And hopefully make Vanitas feel better for it. But he'll 'cleverly' leave that out right now.]

So I think we should do it!

You act as if we plan on dragging you out of the house or something.

[Don't be a diva, Vanitas.]

And there's no way I couldn't say 'no' to Sora.

[ Oh yeah. They are definitely up to something. There's no way around that. Sora is far to perky and upbeat. ]

Sora usually is the one that drags me out, so yes. I might be thinking that you two are going to be pulling me around all day.

[ He isn't a diva! ]

And once again it seems that I am the only one that can tell Sora no.

Geeze, give me a bit more credit here!

[Sora's tall rabbit ears twitch quickly.]

Listen to Lavi too! We're not going out today, we're staying in! There's a difference! We're gonna have an old school sleepover!

I should've brought more pillows and blankets with me.

[He ruffles Sora's hair.]

We can even sit around and paint each other's nails if that makes you feel better.

[ Huh? What what? ]

Old school sleepover?

[ He asks as if he doesn't know what that is. The truth is he kind of has an idea; Lavi is going to be staying here tonight too? It's not unusual for Sora to pick and choose when he wants to sleep here, but Lavi? ]

I'd expect this from you, Sora. Not so much you, Lavi.

[Sora snickers under Lavi's hand and then moves to pull on Vanitas' arm.]

After everything that's happened lately, it'll be nice to just hang out for a while. Stay the night here and everything.

[Vanitas might not be the best people person but surely he'd like to have his bondmates around?]

I'm a sucker for sleepovers.

[Lavi is just going with the flow.

And he's rather easygoing in that way. If he has to manhandle Vanitas into bed to make him be still, he'll do it.]

We can even sing songs or tell stories if you want.

[He teases.]

You haven't heard Sora sing. That's going to be a hard pass.

[ Seriously though. Sora singing might put both them in a grouchy mood. It's... Van sighs and rubs his face after the comment. They're doing this because they are concerned aren't they? ]

Idiots. Both of you.

Hey-!! My singing isn't that bad?!

[Sora puffs up like an angry rabbit. Ears up and fur bristled. He pouts quickly and then tugs on Vanitas.]

I'd like to hear the two of you try to sing. How about that?!

[Oh god, are they really going to sing songs...]

[Lavi just gives Vanitas a bit of a knowing look.

Listen. They're going to care about you.

Deal with it.

Even if Lavi is struggling to figure out how emotions are supposed to work still in this situation.]

I don't know, Sora. If you guys still want to keep your hearing, I doubt you'd wanna hear me sing.

[darkcharge]

[ Yeah he sees that knowing look. Vanitas just closes his eyes, huffing even with Sora tugging on him. Yeah... Fine. Whatever. He just pushes that feeling of resignation through the bonds. Yeah, all right. Van won't fight it any more. ]

So there you have it. No singing.

Lavi, it was your idea...!

[Sora shrugs and looks from Lavi to Vanitas and then nods.]

Okay, no singing then. Telling stories it is! How about we go upstairs to hang out?

[And Sora won't have to prove that his singing isn't so bad anyway! But maybe it's better that they do skip over all of that. And sitting around telling some cool stories sounds like a great idea. They've got tons of blankets and pillows too.]

Hey, I'm up for it if you guys want to burst your eardrums.

[He snickers.]

Just lead the way then you guys.

[ Going back and forth like this... Bickering. Almost feels normal. Like what people who have a full heart, that are whole, do. Vanitas has observed it with other people. He just hadn't thought that, one day, he would engage in it himself.

So give him a few moments to just stare and watch. Then shrug. ]

Yeah. Upstairs.

[ Vanitas will lead the way up. His room is still kind of plain without much in the way of personal belongings. There are more floating around than when he had first arrived. But it still in no way resembles the room of a teenage boy. ]

Make yourselves at home I guess.

[Sora glances at Lavi as they follow behind Vanitas and he gives Lavi a wink too. Mission accomplished. So far.

The room might be plain but Sora spends enough time here that he doesn't mind it. Some of Sora's own things might be scattered here and there. Little things he's collected like shiny rocks or little toy charms sitting on the desk. A piece of clothing here and there. But the pile of pillows and blankets on the bed is more or less Sora's idea.

Sora follows inside and goes to the window to push it open.]

It's weird that summer's almost over already, huh?

[Normal bickering and talking.]

So, who wants to share a story first? I'm voting Lavi.

[Lavi just winks back at Sora.

The room...is fitting for Vanitas honestly. Though he can see bits of things in there that reminds him of Sora. He wonders briefly how often they share a bed together--

At being volunteered, he makes a face.]

Hey, hey. Why am I being voted first? I say you go first, Sora.

[ Wouldn't Lavi like to know the answer...

Vanitas just takes a seat. His Flood is nowhere to be found at the moment, which is just as well. Breezy must be off somewhere asleep so it's not like his lap is going to be suddenly occupied either.

Hearing Lavi try to back out just makes Vanitas smirk a little. ]

No... I think Sora is onto something. We don't know much about you after all.

[Sora moves to the bed to sit down. One that yes, has been shared quite a few times now! Sora folds his arms behind his head.]

Two against one, Lavi. Now you've gotta spill.

[He spreads out his arms in surrender.

Two munchkins ganging up on him isn't fair.]

Whaddya wanna know then?

[He's not sure if telling war stories would be good all things considered.]

Knowing Sora, he'll want to know about your world and friends.

[ The brat is kind of predictable like that, yeah? ]

[Vanitas pretty much calls it.]

Yeah, tell us about you and where you come from!

In my world, I fight dead people whose souls are forced into killing machines called Akuma that basically have a mind of their own but follows a man called the Millennium Earl. When someone dies, someone who loves them can bring them back to life by making a deal with the Earl, but it usually comes at the cost of their own life and their own body becomes the machine that's used to house their soul that makes them kill just about anyone.

[You guys asked for this...]

And anyone who usually gets hit by an Akuma ray will have black stars appear on their body and kill them--turning them into dust really.

[ Well Sora is sort of predictable like that. Vanitas doesn't think Lavi would actually tell them though.

He has no idea what sort of reaction Lavi is expecting to get though. Disgust? Gasping? Shock? A shame that Vanitas isn't going to really register any those sort of emotions. ]

Sounds like that's on them, though. Wishing someone back from the dead... Of course it's going to come with a price.

[What a tale. Sora tilts his head to the side.]

The whole dead people thing turning into other things reminds me a little of heartless but the rest of it...? Sounds complicated.
