[ The liveliness is welcome. They're both different personalities but also share a love for eating. Maybe others would have found her new roommate's behavior to be a little rude, but Orchid doesn't have any complaints. ]

That's what they read from the advertisement.

[ How 'Saber' described herself in writing at least. Having been around individuals with more aggressive, dominant personalities like Apollo and Sturm, she should be able to handle it. Hopefully.

And she's been fine, so far. But she looks to Rosetta with concern. ]

I'll be fine, I think. But what about you, Rosetta? I hope you're not lonely...

[ It's very sweet of Orchid to express concern over her well-being, and the simple statement does far more in warming Rosetta's heart that she lets on. Rosetta laughs lightly, a carefree sound that floats through the air. ]

There's no need to worry about me; I'm doing just fine. Actually, I ran into Siegfried shortly after I arrived.

[ Tall, dark, and oh-so-serious...how can a woman not be doing fine in his presence? ]

We've managed to find some lodgings on the outskirts of town -- you're welcome to visit us any time you'd like, but the rooms are, hm, [ how should she put this ] not particularly spacious.

[ She knows Rosetta is a woman capable of handling herself. Being alone is a sad feeling though. So, she's relieved to know that she isn't. Her faint smile returns to her face. ]

Ah. I'm glad... I was able to meet with him too.

[ Though she doesn't know him all too well, he'd left a good impression on her.

How nice, sharing a not particularly spacious home with Siegfried. Orchid doesn't think too much about it, except for how uncomfortably it will be if a third person were in there. ]

I can stand outside if it's too cramped.

[ Rosetta pulls a face, disapproval only slightly exaggerated on her face. ]

Absolutely not. We'll find some way to make room for you, even if it means working doubly hard in order to rent out a larger, nicer place.

[ In this case, making Siegfried work doubly hard. She'd like to work hard too but...well, it seems like a waste if he's already putting in so much effort. There's so much research that still needs to be done on monsters and witches, in any case.

Speaking of-- ]

Say, Orchid, how are you feeling here? [ A bit of concern edges back into her voice. ] I know things are quite different here compared to back in the skydoms.

[ In that case, she should try working hard as well. She was already planning on it anyway. Without Lloyd, if she's unable to do much fighting, she needs to find other ways in being helpful while trying to get accustomed to her powers as a witch.

Besides "different", she doesn't know how else to describe how she's feeling. The new magic dwelling inside of her feels nothing like Akasha or the power of the Astrals. ]

I... don't feel as strong as I was before.

[ Lloyd is still absent, having been taken away by Zwei long before she arrived through her mirror. ]

But I have a new power now. I just need practice, so I can be more useful.

[ It's not a strange sentiment, and certainly it's one that both Rosetta and Siegfried share in, but the admission sits poorly with Rosetta all the same. To have their innate powers forcibly stripped away without so much as a 'may I please' is, quite frankly, unacceptable to her, and no amount of new power granted can ease the resentment that still rubs raw at her.

But Orchid seems to be doing well, looking forward rather than to the past, and Rosetta can only hope that such a bright outlook will reward her in the end. ]

Oh, are you a witch then? Perhaps we could practice together then, if you'd like. Two heads are better than one, after all.

[ And the company's certainly welcome too. ]
