[ When he felt it happen, he made sure he was at home. Well, "home" within this world. Where both Alucard and Sypha were, as he didn't wish to die alone. Funny that. Considering he'd spent a great deal of his life not really giving a shit what other people thought of him or coming to think he even needed anyone to begin with. But now all of a sudden? Now all of a sudden he didn't want to be alone and that's why he had been staying around the house more. Also he just... was too weak to do much else other than lay about in bed, on the couch, or slump himself over the window to enjoy the damp cool air.
He was going to only ever get to feel the night air soon.
He'd made sure to alert Berserker to what was happening when he felt a significant change within himself. As if his body was finally giving up, finally so tired from trying to fight off what it knew was coming the moment he first bared his fangs at Alucard months ago.
Death. He was finally dying.
When he does finally die, it's a little more peaceful than he ever thought his death would be. Really, he was sure he'd die by the hand of a night creature or some asshole from Hell. MAYBE some drunken jerk a long way down the line of his life. But to go like this, in his bed with his Bonded near... well, shit. Helluva lot more worse ways to go, isn't there?
He just feels... tired, when he goes. As if keeping his eyes open is the most difficult thing he's ever done in his life and it's with a smile on his face and a breathless fuck you to this world, that he finally just... goes, a hiccup or snap of pain within his bonds cementing it. Trevor Belmont. House of Belmont. Last of the Belmonts. Has finally been laid to rest. ]

[Trevor. Please. Please, just drink the goddamn blood.]
no subject
Drinking.
While staring to the blond.
Eyes shining brighter the more he drinks. ]

Alucard's hand is steady as he keeps the cup up. Feels it grow lighter. But his eyes remain on Trevor, watching his reaction.]
--Almost done.
[Yeah this is absolutely like feeding a baby, sorry.]

But as lips pull away from the straw when he's sucked it all down, he lets his head loll to the side as he hums at how nice that tasted sliding down his throat. Still warm. So... fresh. Not nearly as nice as what he had experienced from that little lick of blood from Alucard's finger the one time. But it's still so... satisfying and Trevor feels a shiver come over him as hands curl into fists within his restraints. Alucard just might be able to feel a flutter of being SO VERY PLEASED through their bond. ]
Thaaaaat... was nice.
no subject
[That initial pleasure is...he isn't sure. Natural, probably, but he won't say much more than that. He just stands up, ready to complete the second part of their agreement.]
How do you feel?
no subject
[ Like when he drinks Berserker's blood. That's partly why he had asked what sort of blood he was being given. With Berserker, he knows what to expect and Alucard's, the drop of it he had been given, that's really fucking good. But if it had been some other sort of monster which he hadn't yet tasted yet, who knows how it might have made him react, if at all. So, human was probably the safest. Animal, too, but... no thanks.
But the red of his eyes begin to dull a little around the edges, blue threatening to push its way back, if even just a little. He's calming down. Though slowly. ]
no subject
[Good. There's some natural color returning. He'll go and get more blood later, but right now?
Alucard stands at the side of Trevor's bed, and leans over. He kisses one set of closed knuckles gently, then leans over so he can do the same to the other.]
You're getting through the worst of it. Just please keep trusting us.
no subject
Alucard.
[ Though his eyes still remain red with a speckling of blue around the edges now, they're soft and not full of fire or frustration, letting his thoughts wander for a short moment. ]
Tell me something I don't know about you.
no subject
Alucard keeps his awkward posture.]
When I was a very young child and mastering my abilities, I floated myself up to one of the tall ceilings in the castle and got stuck there. My mother couldn't reach me and with it being daylight, my father couldn't come and get me down.
I was there for six hours.
no subject
You... got stuck on the ceiling...
[ And, despite it being as gentle as it is, he finds his lips curling into a genuine smile. Not one with the means to manipulate in getting his way but, rather, a genuine Trevor Belmont smile... and he chuckles a little to himself at the thought, head tilting as he sighs. ]
Ahhh... that's so messed up.
no subject
[His own smile at the memory is a little sadder but not terribly crushing. An improvement by any means.]
My father finally got me down, and I fell asleep in his arms almost immediately.
I also had to wear a leash around my middle until I learned to lower myself down properly.
no subject
Not gonna put a leash or something around me, are you?
no subject
[He laughs at that mental image, and then just nuzzles Trevor's fingers. A little.]
Should I go get you more blood from the bar?
no subject
Kiss me?
no subject
But not yet.]
When you wake tomorrow. [He knows it's cruel.]
It'll give you something to look forward to.
no subject
Instead he sits upright some, staring off ahead. Wondering. Until he finally just asks. ]
Do you... still... you know?
[ Want any of this? ]
no subject
[The answer is as ready and firm as any other thing Alucard has said tonight. And he thinks he knows why. He'll get a guess in, because they almost floundered entirely due to...well, emotional constipation on Alucard's end.]
Tonight is different. You know that tonight is different. There is a new part of you to account for, and until you're at an equilibrum, we still have to be careful.
I wouldn't be here, I wouldn't do any of this, if I didn't love you.
[.........oh.
shit.
He said a word.]
no subject
But look at all that's happened since coming here.
So when Alucard says that word, Trevor finds himself blinking wide-eyed and, perhaps a touch surprisingly, more of the red within his eyes begins to lose itself within the blue, a mere few speckles of red now throughout his eyes. ]
You... what?
no subject
[Look. He said it once and--
holy shit.
Trevor's eyes shouldn't have changed that quickly. But they did. They're as close to normal as possible given the circumstances and there is a part of Alucard that just stares, mouth agape.]
no subject
...what? Is there something on my face?
[ And you can be sure he's TRYING to look at his own face. Head moving about. Eyebrows wiggling.
Yeah. ]
no subject
[He has no idea how any of this goes now.]
no subject
[ A beat. ]
Wait- my eyes were red?
no subject
[Okay he's just going to sit at the edge of Trevor's bed. By his feet, but still.]
no subject
[ It's almost as if they've somehow fallen back into their usual way with one another. ]
I can't see myself. How else do I look? Oh god, am I horribly disfigured or something? Do I look like a bat?
no subject
[Oh yeah, back to normal.]
