Still, she's making the best of it. It helps that a lot of the quests are pretty easy to complete, especially if she has an incredibly sweet and friendly partner like Souji to work with.
She's glad to see him again. Something in her heart feels a little...soothed? satisfied? but also agitated? by his presence. It's hard to explain. And it feels weird since she just met him, so she's going to keep the fact to herself.]
Yeah! We're very lucky world hoppers. I'm glad they don't seem to be struggling to accommodate us. And still have all these festivals going on. [She gives him a crooked smile as she wraps her hands around her tea.] It almost doesn't seem like they're in danger that way.
[That's the worst kind of danger, though-- creeping up on you slowly until it's become a monster that seems insurmountable. She knows very well.]

He'll see if the same thing happens with Minako.
Settling into his seat, he picks up the tea and blows lightly at the top of it before he takes a sip. But her words do give him a moment of pause, as he mulls over it. ]
We did arrive in the middle of the festival, so it might've been that it hadn't hit them that we weren't supposed to be there. [ Contemplative as he sounds, Souji also sounds a little wry to match her crooked smile. ] It wouldn't surprise me if they were trying to forget about the danger, but...
[ That doesn't seem safe, either. ]

[If only things could've been like that for her at home. Then one group of young people wouldn't have been burdened with saving all of humanity. But instead, there were way too many people giving in, too many people letting apathy and fear overtake them. Hope and optimism were in short supply those last few months, and witnessing the decline of their city did her team no favors. They only managed to persevere by holding each other up every step of the way to the end.
So if this world's way of enduring is through festivals, then she'll help keep them happening before she inevitably fades away. Who doesn't love a good party, after all?]
And if they ever forget that they're fighting to save themselves, I'm a really good candidate for kicking people's butts into gear!
