Yeah? [Yuya smiles.] It's the same for me--uh, but my dad was a different kind of performer.

Someone... his name is Elliot, I think? He's a musician who uses magic, I think he'd know. And Steven, he's a fae so his music isn't magic but he plays.

[Yuya makes a strumming motion in the air.] Guitar, I think.

[ Such precious information...! He's absorbing all of that up before he could glaze over it. ]

Alright. If I meet them, I will ask them to help me with what they know.

[ Hopefully they won't ask for money in return, because he's kinda broke. ]

I used to be in a band, so I also know the basics of playing guitar.

[Yuya offers a thumbs up.] Then I hope you get the chance you play with them soon!

[... Hm.] Did you bring your violin with you?

[ He nods... well, technically, yeah. ]

I had a violin when I was brought here. It belongs to my father, though.

Oh. [Yuya knits his brow briefly, tilting his head.] Because it's your father's, you can't play it? I mean, he didn't give it to you?

I can play it, but he didn't exactly give it to me. I inherited it from him.

[ Dad Otoya was already dead before Wataru was born. ]

Oh. [Yeah, he can read between those lines.] Uh--sorry.

[He rubs the back of his neck.] Well, you could buy another one but... if you inherited it, maybe it's because he'd want you to play it?

I am... quite certain he wants me to play it. And I will, whenever necessary.

[ It holds so much value for him it's hard to use it. But that mindset was also why he got so obsessed with making a replica in the first place.

He winces a bit, at himself. ]

Don't worry, I can play the violin. It's just a bit complicated.

Okay, okay. [Yuya raises his hands, waving them a little. He doesn't mean to push.] Do you have a place to stay, yet?

[ He appreciates it, because it's rather complicated to explain his entire story. ]

I found a small house with enough room for myself and my familiar. I have no intention to find myself a housemate yet, though.

[There's still plenty of space in the haven for all them, right? He has no idea how many people the coven is prepared to fit, actually.]

No--that's fine, I don't think you have to have one. I stay in an apartment by myself. I was just wondering if you were settling in. The coven does what they can for us, but I know it's a lot.

Oh... uh, I'm trying... I think?

[ He scratches the back of his head. ]

I'm very much used to the concept of having monsters around, so that's not an issue. It's the whole magic business that throws me off most. Besides, I have little clue of what happened here prior to my arrival, but I know last month wasn't easy for a lot of people.
