I suggest the pendant option, only because it seems easier to make than cufflinks.

[ And while he's not 100% superstitious, he'd like to avoid having this guy suffer from bad luck because he damaged a coin. ]

I'm going to keep it in my pocket, or somewhere in my house where it's safe.

[ He's not one for jewellery, though if he could get away with it he could have maybe made it a modest-looking bracelet. ]

I am, although I have friends who have been here longer.

I came here alone, apparently. Besides my familiar, there's no one from my world I recognize.

[ He's not so conflicted about it. They're better off at home than here. Though it's lonely here, admittedly. ]
