He has the overall picture of what he wants-it's more of the daily things that I'm not so sure.

[She waves her hand idly.]

But then he's been...indisposed due to his more recent changes.

And what might those be?

[He doesn't actually anticipate that Caren will tell him, but he might as well ask anyway.]

Monster problems. I won't bore you with the details.

[She waved a hand. Somnus called himself out, Ozy would see if he looked on his Watch.]

[That's more information than he would have anticipated, but no matter.]

So which shall it be? Mine or yours?

Yours.

[Just so Somnus can have privacy, and so Caren can see Ozy's place for herself.]

Very well.

[Her decision is likely for the best. Arthur and Berserker are far less likely to be home, or if they are, more likely to keep to themselves. He takes her in the direction of his mansion.]

[And worst comes to worse she can terrorize them. Or...well, she can do that to Arthur. Beserker, not so much.

She followed him, marking the way there. She'd likely want to visit him sometime, maybe bring over some sort of treat in one form or another.]

[The door to Ozymandias' shared home with Berserker and Arthur is left unlocked. But given the gaping hole in one of the walls -- which as he's said, there are the beginnings of repairs upon -- it seems a little foolish to bother with it right now. Besides, most of what's within the home doesn't belong to any of the occupants, though Ozymandias certainly has plans to change that over time the longer they are here in this place.]

[He enters first, straining his hearing a moment for sounds of life within the house. Yes, he knows her hearing is far sharper than his own, but reclusive though both of the other occupants may be, they are rather hard to miss in the house. Even he can hear little sounds they make in their rooms or other parts of the house.]

It does not sound as though the others are here for now, [he says, leading her further into the foyer. As he mentioned, the hole in the wall is not the only remnants of the full moon.]

[Considering how there's the giant hole...yeah, there's really no point in locking the door. She has to shake her head at the sight of it. Dragons. Dragon servants. They're troublesome, even if they are unbelievably attractive.

His hearing might be a bit better then hers at the moment-she has her ear plugs in. Or that's what she hopes.

She does take a moment to leave her shoes by the door as she follows him, walking in stocking feet.]

Maybe they're dancing in one of the wedding ceremonies. Or taking part of a fashion show?

[Her mouth twitches. She doesn't see how that would work with either one, but she's glad for having some time with the King of Kings alone. (Not that it's awkward or anything with Saber or Beserker, noooo).]

I've seen some interesting combinations.

[Ozymandias erupts into laughter almost immediately at the suggestion as he leads her toward the living room. He's not sure which is the more unlikely, but either Servant with either festivity holds equal amusement for Ozymandias. Even in the case of Berserker, who would no doubt be more trouble than he's worth to any tailor or couple.]

Caren, if that were the case, I don't think either one of us would be here right now. [He steps aside, allowing her to cross the threshold into the living room first. As one might expect, while many of the personal effects of the room have been removed, very little about the room itself reads as belonging to any of the occupants of the house. Well, perhaps Berserker with its darker color palette, but even still. Thankfully, this room was untouched by the dragons during the full moon.] Can I get you anything?

[She thought that he'd find it funny. She thought it was too, hence her smiling as she followed him into the living room area-which was rather nice, for all that it was minimual. But then, she was likely thinking of how much dusting she had to do in her own home, compared to here.]

You mean we might be in the midst of it, trying to make sure that neither of them were starting a riot?

[Arthur...had his own way of getting into trouble, just like Beserker. One was just a little louder then the other.]

Tea or coffee, if you don't mind. And I can do without if you're not thirsty.

[Ozymandias nods at her request for tea or coffee, gesturing for her to make herself comfortable while he prepares it.]

You speak only for yourself as far as preventing a riot, [Ozymandias says with a smirk as he turns and heads for the kitchen.]

[Ozymandias may be one for maintaining order and enforcing it, but there are times when not even he can resist the allure of stirring up a little bit of trouble. Besides, he thinks it would be good for the pair of them to engage in something a little more harmless than a battle to let off some steam. Perhaps one of them might finally understand the point of indulgences.]

Troublemaker.

[She chuckled quietly. She should have known better-if there was fun to be had...well, a riot might be fun in a way, she guesses.

With a head shake, she made to straighten up and made herself comfortable on the couch. Which...still looked prim and proper, wings, tail and all. (But at least Ozy would get a look of Caren's fluffy cat tail draped over her lap.)]

[He leaves her alone only for a short while. Unlike some of the requests that were made by other guests, producing tea or coffee doesn't require a magical intervention since the house came pre-stocked from the previous owners.]

[It's likely the wafting scent of freshly brewed coffee wafts and reaches her before she sees Ozymandias enter the room with a tray. Sitting beside her on the couch and setting the tray on the low coffee table in front of the couch, he's not surprised to see her sitting so prim and proper. As often as she might be willing to take more risks with her words, Caren always seems careful to conduct herself properly when in his presence.]

[At least to begin with.]

[He pours one cup and sets it in front of her, leaving it to her to add whatever sugar or milk to her preference.]

You mentioned that you know Giorno earlier. I take it you've managed to make a number of friends then?

[The smell of coffee was a soothing; a ritual that she was used to doing here, or in her home world. It had her relax slightly, taking in a deep breath before he came back, but only just that.

Besides, leaning back against the couch with her wings wouldn't be the best of ideas.

Caren thanked him quietly, and after adding a sprinkling of milk and sugar, she stirred, and brought the cup up, and onto her lap, resting it between her hands.]

I've managed to meet a number of people, yes. In part due to the festivals, but in part I think, due to the nature of work I normally partake in.

I work as a seamstress most days at the Knit Wit.

[As she adds her sugar and milk to her coffee, Ozymandias pours himself a cup.]

You enjoy your work then?

[He adds his own milk and sugar before leaning back against the couch with his free arm draped along the back of it as he remains partially facing her.]

I do. I thought of going into gardening but- I'd rather keep it a personal joy.

It also gave me the idea of a possible cheesy product line.

[She took a sip of her drink, and shifted her weight so she was facing him partially and politely. That was important.]

What about you? What do you do for work?

I remain focused on my studies, [he says with a small shake of his head. Never mind that even if he wanted to work, last month certainly prevented it.] When I grow bored of it, I'm sure I will seek to fill my time another way, perhaps even with work.

[But he's far from bored right now. Being older and among the strongest of Servants, this powerlessness as a novice witch is unfamiliar and uncomfortable to him. Now that he is an additional month behind, Ozymandias' time this month is likely to be far too busy to allow much room for much else.]

In this house, it is Saber who busies himself with work.

[When not repairing the damage to the house now, too.]

That's understandable. In your position, I would likely do much of the same.

[Though she might have tried to balance work and studying to support herself and Somnus in Ozy's position. But too, with his age and power in other worlds, it likely rankles that he has to start from zero with little power to claim for himself.

But she was a monster, and thus it wasn't for her to study, but to Protect. Or so she saw her position.

Still, hearing the title 'Saber' made her cheek twitch-an unconscious thing, she wasn't even aware of as she took a sip of her drink.]

It's almost difficult to picture Saber at work. Not that he isn't diligent- but when I met him, he seemed quite shy.

[Not quite the right word, but close enough.]

Shy...?

[Ozymandias repeats it back, mulling over the descriptor in his mind for a moment as he takes a sip of his drink. He completely missed the twitch in her cheek at the mention of 'Saber.']

I would agree that he tends to be more reserved than others for reasons that are his own, [Ozymandias knows some, but not all of them,] but I don't know that I would describe him as shy.

Mm. Shy isn't the right word-you're correct.

Introverted or reserved perhaps? Even...closed off.

[She shook her head, pensive as she thought over their previous interaction.]

But I'm sure he has his reasons, as you said. I just hope he's doing well in his current position.

How often have you spoken to him?

[To some extent, Ozymandias' question is idle conversation, but he is also genuinely curious. He doesn't anticipate Arthur really seeking out relationships with others much.]

Once-twice. The first time we parted...it was awkward.

[She sighed. That was rare for her-normally she wouldn't have been out of sorts when it came to meeting a person. It was supposed to be the other way around.]

He didn't want me to remember him-or rather, to dismiss him. That...I didn't take it well due to past experiences.

[Don't laugh Ozy. She'll punch you.]

[Uh?? Punching Pharaoh is pretty heckin' illegal, but it's fine. He won't give her cause to do him a hit.]

Quite frankly, he should be ignored when he says things like that, [Ozymandias says with a small shake of his head.] It's how I often deal with it, anyway. Arguing against his desire to be on his own becomes tedious after a while.

[She dun care she'll still do it.]

I can see how it would be.

[She sighs, and sets her cup down briefly on her lap.]

I do have to confess something. I know his True Name. It's the-hair and the eyes. I met his female counterpart and...

He confirmed it. It might have affected his reaction. I might have to make it up to him somehow, to make him feel less out of sorts.
