( She stops at that, brows furrowing - her tone becoming much more stern. )

You should have been resting, Gon. Let's find a place to sit. I can make ice for your legs then.

( He shouldn't be out like this... Why did he think to walk around in a place like this?

She shifts then, moving closer to Gon. )

Here. I'll help you walk.

[Gon's ears flatten downwards and backwards at Aqua's scolding, and he scowls a little bit. he knows she's right, and Killua mentioned it too (so Gon then stopped mentioning it so Killua would forget about it and not scold him)... but resting is so boring. literally Gon's least favorite activity, because it's not an activity!!!]

Thanks. Sorry about that. I guess I thought it wouldn't get worse, since the pain had been kinda at the same level for a few days. I feel like I've been a pain in your butt since I got here...

Not at all. ( Aqua quietly reassures him. ) I'm here to help in whatever way that I can.

It sounds like this may be one of your changes. Some-- can hurt more than others.

Ughh, I was worried about that!

[Gon scowls spitefully down at his legs again, which just keep doing their thing. which is throbbing in agony. at least the pain's gotten to the point where it's basically numbed out.

Gon's tail anxiously and irritably sways, the thick bristle of its end picking up brush unbeknownst to Gon.]

This is the one I've been worried about the most, too...

[Gon's knees wobble a bit, and his grip braces with a graceless, high-pitched gasp.]

( Aqua quickly reaches then, wrapping an arm around him to help him rebalance himself. She frowns deeply, the stern expression never leaving her face. )

This may be forward of me, but -- until we can find a place for you to rest, I can carry you on my back.

[Gon's eyes thin shut and his posture deflates, the corner of his smile twitching a little. it's not an actual problem, but a blow to his pride. after this, he's going to make a vested effort to do something nice for Aqua... this is the second time she's come and saved his ass in some capacity. Absolutely Unacceptable.]

Yeah, that's probably smart... Sorry about this...

Please, it really is alright. I understand how painful some of these changes can be for others.

( She crouches down then, looking to Gon - her wings spreading in order to give Gon room to climb on. )

Are you able to get on on your own?

I guess I was careless... Since I have a high pain tolerance, and I've been through some crazy stuff, I didn't think it would get this bad.

[Gon watches Aqua's wings expand, and his eyes widen along with their unveiling, marveling at their revealed detail.]

Huh?? Are you gonna fly with me?

There's only so much pain we can handle, no matter how much we've been through.

( She goes quiet for a moment. She hadn't thought about doing that, but... )
