What: Lavi hit his third month without a bond and it shows.

[Lavi has been keeping track of the moon cycles.

He can feel the changes, the way it makes his skin tingle. The way it begins to make his skin itch as he feels something trying to take over him. He hasn’t had too much experience with full moons, even though in the past, it wasn’t bad before. Except this time, he gets the feeling that he might have gone far too long. This is probably what everyone has been warning about when it comes to not being Bonded to anyone.

It has him stumbling around, trying to find a place where he wouldn’t be surrounded by too many people.

Except that maybe he doesn’t get too far.

Fur covers his arms and legs, claws and incisors elongating. He can feel the call of the full moon beckoning him. Forcing him to just let go.

Humanity is replaced with feral thinking as Lavi sheds it like an outer skin, low rumbling slipping from his throat. He lifts his head up towards to the full moon. His right leg thumps on the ground before a snarl escapes and he runs off.

He feels a desire to do something. Anything.

To fight, fight, fight.

To hurt.

Anyone who’s wandering around would find him hunched over, digging almost furiously into the ground. Except his ears perk up and he turns suddenly, snarling at you.]

[ Then back down to the ground Vanitas goes as well. Though he is far more graceful about it than Lavi.

The face is the quickest way to end this, really. It's nothing personal.

Even so Vanitas saunters over, Keyblade dragging the ground and kicking up sparks. ]

Look at you. Lost your mind and have fallen completely into those feral instincts. Pathetic.

[The sad thing about Lavi is that--

He really doesn't give up. Honestly, it feels more like his body is moving on its own at this point.

Which means he's slowly getting up, a low snarl making its way out of his throat.]

[ Go ahead. Get up. As long as Lavi is slow about this... Vanitas can attempt to freeze the Puca's legs up.

Make an attempt anyway. ]

Please, struggle more. This won't be worth it otherwise.

[You know, he would.

He'd really like to.

But considering he was hot in the face, it's enough to make Lavi dizzy still. so, in the end, he just kind of flops over and grows unconscious properly this time.]

[darkcharge]

[ Augh how pathetic. This hadn't even really been a fight! Vanitas' blood is still hot. Still pumping. Even with Lavi falling he paces like a caged tiger. There's no longer any outlet for his aggression.

He yells then, punching a nearby wall with as much force as he can muster, magic also releasing. This isn't fair! ]

Don't go feral and then just flop over the moment I show up!

[ It's kind of a let down. Vanitas spends a few more minutes pacing before he actually calms down and sits right next to Lavi. Poking. ]

Wake up you pathetic Puca...

[It takes a while before the transformation slowly dies down.

Lavi groans, fingers twitching.

Another minute before his eye opens and the moment he sees Vanitas, he's just...going to turn on his side and pretend this is just a dream.]

[darkcharge]

[ Vanitas watches all the while. It's a very conflicting thing, now that he's calmed down somewhat. He actually doesn't... Mind Lavi? Like his company is preferable to some others. Yet he's pretty darn angry that the moron would allow things to go this far.

He had thought Lavi more intelligent than that. ]

Don't pretend you are still napping you dumb rabbit.

That depends on whether or not you're going to toss another fire spell at my face.

[Because he'd rather do without.

And listen. Lavi is usually good. But a twisted part of him wanted to see how long he could actually last without getting a Bond. It's not something he wants, but after tonight, he's learning that it might not be a terribly bad idea.

If it means he keeps on living, anyway.]

[ He snorts. ]

That depends on whether or not you're going to be dumb enough to come after me and what's mine again.

[ Otherwise? Nah. Vanitas hadn't thought about doing it. Though he'd really like to! ]

[He grunts.

Lavi's tired and hurt. He's pretty sure his face is going to scar with that burn on his face now--]

Good. Now sit up.

[ Nudging the stupidly tall Puca with a foot. Come on come on. Vanitas doesn't have all night. ]

I'm not done with you just yet.

You have such a way with words.

[He groans but does sit up.]

Scolding me for being stupid and going feral aside--what's up?

[Don't hurt him again D:]

Oh I am going to scold you. Because you could have at least taken up a temporary bond to get through the moon phase.

[ And for that? Vanitas smacks Lavi on the head. ]

Moron. Now hold still. Then I'll yell at you some more.

[ 'Cause Van is going to hold his hand to the burnt flesh of Lavi's face. Then he'll begin the healing process. ]

Wasn't anyone I wanted to ask.

[Not true but he doesn't know where Yona stands and how many bonds Vanitas already had.

There's a brief stillness at the feeling of magic, feeling his skin slowly stitching back together. The touch of magic makes him relax. It's like a cooling sensation that sates the beast inside of him.]

Do you really need to have someone specific in mind if it's just temporary?

[ Healing magic always produces a rather calming effect. And something like this is pretty easy for Vanitas to heal. He had worked on Sora earlier too. ]

If you don't, this will just happen again.

[He makes a face at him.

He has issues.]

Yeah, well, there's really only one person I'd wanna ask anyway.

[darkcharge]

[ Look, who around here doesn't have issues? Seems like everyone Vanitas knows has some sort of hang up. ]

Then ask them. Most people around here will jump at the chance to do something so selfless, you realize.

I don't know.

[He quirks a brow.]

The guy I wanna ask seems more like the selfish and possessive type than selfless.

[ He drops his healing for a moment. Poor Lavi, because Vanitas is grabbing the Puca's face so he can inspect the healing done.

No scarring so Lavi's precious face so he can be pleased with that. ]

My bondmates don't seem to mind it.

To be fair, they're probably just used to you.

Lavi gives him a little bit of a grumpy face just to be a brat.]

[ Vanitas gives a bit of a chuckle. ]

That's probably accurate. So if I can be bothered to ask people for bonds? So can you.

[ He raises a brow at the question. ]

You attack a guy. Then the guy attacks you. In the end you ask said guy to bond with you.

[ Then he rolls his eyes. ]
