mid may, open!
That's why around noon, he can be caught standing near an eight foot stock tank that he'd rolled into the yard with a hose in one hand, the other on his hip as he hums to himself while it fills with water.
And if anyone missed him? He's still there later, only now he's inside of it with the end of a blue eel-like tail danging over the edge of it and a pair of scuffed up sunglasses he happened to find... somewhere. They may or not be "borrowed" from the local that he's been staying with, but shhhhh.]

Demyx? What are you doing?

[It's not Agrabah hot, but it's hot enough to cause mild discomfort.]
And your place is soooooooo much bigger than the one I've been at. I can't even fit in the dude's bathtub!
no subject
[And he wasn't even in his coat! Although, he's still got the extra fur, so that's probably a problem.]
[He does perk up at the pool though.]
A pool... that's actually a great idea!

[Fortunately he knows someone in the house who also happens to be a Turnskin. Which is why he and Ventus are outside, Roxas rubbing the back of his neck.]
Thanks for helping me out with this. I don't really... get how this whole transforming thing works.
mid may morning, open
On one particular morning Sora is a little more awake than usual but shuffles out of his room with a yawn. He seems to be a lot more in tune with the smell of magic lately so anything casted, even the simplest of spells, could catch his attention.]

She looks up from the book she had been reading when he makes his way out of his room, sending him a meaningful look. ]
Good morning, Sleepyhead. Did you sleep well?

G'morning, Aqua. [Or, that's left of it!] Yeah, I slept like a rock... Is there any breakfast?

Mid-to-Late May, Open
The advantages are obvious. You're more likely to meet them and get that little boost of enthusiasm and self-esteem from doing so. You probably won't be as likely to put yourself at unnecessary risk, and so on.
But the disadvantages are obvious too. You're not pushing yourself, so your improvement is likely to be slower unless you shorten the timeframe for the goals to compensate. The improvements are incremental, with little jumping up. And sometimes, it's just... boring.
Standing out in the backyard, swinging Oathkeeper around (and being very grateful to Sora for letting her use it) Kairi was feeling a bit of both. She had succeeded in enchanting the blade to be incredibly light and easy to wield in her hands, and quite dangerously sharp, with an edge it literally couldn't lose unless she removed the enchantment. Which she did when she put it down, for safety's sake.
But it wasn't anywhere near as impressive as mastering a new level of Fire back home or the like. Sighing as she swung the blade around idly, she thought of other things she might be able to do with it. Things that might take a little more effort. Unfortunately, that distracted her.
And the lightness of the sword made it far easier for it to slip out of her hands.
And, indeed, as she swung it up, she found the spell had worked a bit too well, and the Keyblade soared up into the sky. Horrified, Kairi jerked her head up to watch it climb higher, higher... then start to plummet.
Oh no no no- "Look out-" She cut off. The good news was, there was no one beneath the falling keyblade. The bad news was, that was because it was heading straight for the roof.
Kairi braced herself.
And winced as it landed on the roof, point first, burying itself in.
Oh, she was in for it now.

This was one of those 'secret' nap days.
He didn't expect to hear a near-frantic look out as he stepped around the corner of the house with something tucked under his arm, and of course what does he do? Demyx looks straight up, one hand lifting to shield his eyes from the sun to get a good look at whatever was up--
Only to see it sink into the roof with a slight wince of his own.
"I'm no flower expert, but that looks like a whole bouquet of oopsie daisies up there."
no subject
It was so ironic that there was a time where she could have actually done that. Well, not with this Keyblade, but still.
"Aqua's gonna kill me..." She groaned, turning her eyes to Demyx. "Uh, yeah, that's one way to put it." Maybe even an entire garden's worth of them.
"I enchanted it to make it sharper and lighter, and... well, I guess I went overboard." So yeah, good news, it worked. Bad news, it worked.

But the sound of Kairi's panicked voice prompted him to drop his books to the ground in his haste to race around the side of the house and into the backyard.
He stopped in his tracks at the sight of her, his eyes following the path of hers, just in time to witness the Keyblade bury itself into the roof. He stared for a long moment, his panic easing, and the pounding of his heart slowing.
And then he laughed. A few chuckles bursting out of his mouth before he could stop them.
"We should fix that before Aqua sees."
no subject
Laughter, not so much. She jumped, startled, and whirled to look at him. His amusement rippled through their bond, hot on the heels of the surprise she'd inflicted on him. She, in turn, was practically radiating embarrassment, worry, and dread, and a spark of irritation joined in from him laughing at her, though that quickly just turned into more embarrassment.
Red in the face, she nodded hastily. "Y-yeah, we should. Can you hold the ladder for me while I climb up and grab it?" A brief pause, and a burst of hope along the bond as she thought.
"And what do you know about patching roofs?"

He's just walking out of the house when he hears her shout and Sora leaps a step the side as if expecting to get a keyblade right to the face-- But when he lift his gaze he catches the tail end of oathkeeper getting thrown up on the roof.
... Oh.]
Geeze. Kairi? I think we gotta work on your aim a little more.
no subject
I didn't mean to throw it! I cast a spell on it to make it lighter, like we were talking about, and... I think I kind of overdid it.
[A lot. Like, "now the keyblade can practically fly from being tossed lightly" a lot.]
I don't even wanna know what Aqua's gonna do...

That was Roxas’s belief, before he heard the whoosh of a weapon flying through the air and Kairi’s cry. He ducks on instinct, but fortunately he’s not in any danger. But, following Kairi’s gaze, he turns to see just where her weapon went.
“Uh oh...”
He stares for a moments then turns to her. “Wow...”

"Aqua's gonna kill me..."
She looked back up at the embedded Keyblade for a moment before snapping out of it. "Ah! I gotta get it down!"
