namely blankets, pillows, bedding, shirts or jackets... gone.
the culprit? ventus. he's been 'gently borrowing' items to stuff in his bedroom and make a nest out of his bed. he's trying to be a little sneaky about it, but getting caught in the act may induce a run and chase if someone wants their item back.
good luck.]

...Ven?
no subject
ven tugs at the blanket, tail slowly wagging behind him.]
Oh, hey! I just wanted to, um... borrow this.
no subject
...what?
[His ears flick as he frowns at Ven, clutching at the corner he'd been sleeping closest to.]
...No. I'm using it.
no subject
[tugging hard this time with obvious intent to pull it away completely.]
no subject
[He's holding on tighter to his section, ears angling to the side.]
Quit it, I'm trying to sleep.
no subject
[and he feels like causing problems.
like firmly pulling the blanket away completely.]

REPLIES A HUNDRED YEARS LATE

Pushing the door of his bedroom open, he takes one step over the threshold and is immediately presented with the sight of Ven pulling one of his t-shirts out of the drawer. He frowns and speaks sternly.]
Ven. Drop it.
no subject
Ah-
[no, he's definitely not dropping it.]
You're back early...
no subject
And you're in my room.
[There's a silent where you shouldn't be without permission that goes unsaid.]
Put it down. What do you even need it for?
[There are still some behavioral effects of these transformations he doesn't understand.]
no subject
[he doesn't look very willing to put the shirt down yet, glancing down a few times towards the floor.]
I promise to return it later!
[ven is getting pretty good at shifting, made evident by how quickly he shifts and runs out of the room between riku's open stance. the shirt is clenched tight in between his teeth.]
no subject
[Really, he should have been expecting it. He's not quick enough to grab Ven as he runs through his leg in dog form. But he also doesn't waste any time in giving chase. Ven might be smaller, but Riku still has longer legs.]
Keep this up and I'm putting you on a leash!
[He makes a lunge for Ven.]
no subject
he may have longer legs but when ven runs off to stand on the opposite side of the couch, it just turns into a benny-hill style chase where ven just keeps sprinting to the other side whenever riku gets too close.
tail wagging and everything.]
april 6th ota
It started drizzling first - he could deal with that, but was enough to make Demyx pick up the pace. Said pace didn't last long however, because once the rain started to fall a little harder? Demyx's legs nearly give out from under him, making him stumble forward and reach out to catch himself on the mailbox with a yelp. He must've tripped over something, he tells himself. That had to be it, but then why was he getting dizzy? And why did his back and legs start aching? Did he pull something? How? Why? He wasn't even that old!
The longer he stood against the mailbox, the more things started to hurt, and the less he could focus.
Okay, new plan; go to the door, knock, and beg to stay until the rain let up, because he was not going to stagger through the streets like a drunk. Taking a deep breath, he pushes off from the mailbox and takes three, maybe four steps up the path to the door and then he just straight up
falls flat on his face.]
Oh, come on!
[But when he moves to push himself up to his knees, he finds that he... can't. It doesn't feel right, and when he twists around to look? He's greeted with his pants ripped at the sides and at least six feet of a tail that would normally belong to an eel on the ground.
Don't freak out don't freak out don't freak out don't freak out--]
--Hey! H-Hey, anyone home!? Hello!
no subject
Someone could be needing help. Or temporary shelter from the rain.
He pulls open the door, expecting to find someone standing there and blinks for a moment before his eyes drift downwards.]
Demyx? What are you-[And then he sees the long and massive tail.] Whoa.
[Despite his surprise, he moves closer, leaving the shelter of the house, the thought of getting wet not bothering him. He crouches down near Demyx's head.]
Need a hand?
no subject
Riku!
[It's a friendly(?) face that he recognizes, and while they may have been on "opposite" sides in the war, Demyx never quite beared him any ill will.]
I-I think I need more than a hand, dude--
no subject
I can't carry you by myself, but I could probably pull you inside if you want.
[Even with the added tail Demyx doesn't look like he'd weigh too much for Riku to basically drag him inside.
But he could also go get some help. But then Demyx would have to stay in the rain longer.]
no subject
[He always thought they were - Demyx certainly has the marks to prove it, though thankfully none of them are visible. Still, it makes his tail twist and curl up once or twice, then it uselessly sags against the ground.]
I can't be that heavy, r-right?
[Demyx. Demyx. That tail easily adds another hundred pounds, or close to it.]
no subject
[But Demyx didn't say no to the dragging. So Riku is just going to try and grab the former Nobody under his arms and start walking backwards towards the open door.
It's not easy, but he manages to slowly pull Demyx across the lawn inch by inch.]
You're...definitely really...heavy.
no subject
[He squawks - it's not the worst way he's been dragged, but it's still a bit unexpected. It's definitely better than being dragged by his ears or his ankles, though. And at least Riku has a much gentler touch than say... just about anyone else from the Organization.
His tail on the other hand doesn't seem to quite understand what's going on - it sort of twists and flops around uselessly, but on the upside it's not causing too many problems! And the slime coating seems to be helping with the drag against the grass!]
Duuuuuuude, this is so awkward...
(no subject)
no subject
[He's up on his feet and heading for the door pretty quick, but he's not prepared for what he sees.]
Demy--?! Woah..!
no subject
smacks into the ground with a loud whine.]
Roxasssssss!
no subject
Demyx, what the heck? What happened to you?
[Were these part of his transformations? Either way, he moves to help prop Demyx's torso up, so he can drag him into the house.]
no subject
[Turning around is so much harder when he doesn't have legs to help move, so instead of rolling onto his back like he wants? His tail ends up twisting itself into a knot, but thanks to the rain it doesn't hold and ends up flopping against the ground.
Why couldn't he end up with a normal, old fashioned fish ass like some of the people in Atlantica? Hell, he's pretty sure even an octopus would be better!]
I-It just started raining and I started feeling really weird--!
no subject
[Then again, Demyx had been developing scales, hadn't he? He frowns, looking at that eel end.]
Maybe it's because of your transformations. [It's the only reason he can think of, at least. He grunts as he pulls Demyx towards the entrance.]
This happened because of the rain, right? Maybe if you get out of it, you'll change back.
