[ When he felt it happen, he made sure he was at home. Well, "home" within this world. Where both Alucard and Sypha were, as he didn't wish to die alone. Funny that. Considering he'd spent a great deal of his life not really giving a shit what other people thought of him or coming to think he even needed anyone to begin with. But now all of a sudden? Now all of a sudden he didn't want to be alone and that's why he had been staying around the house more. Also he just... was too weak to do much else other than lay about in bed, on the couch, or slump himself over the window to enjoy the damp cool air.
He was going to only ever get to feel the night air soon.
He'd made sure to alert Berserker to what was happening when he felt a significant change within himself. As if his body was finally giving up, finally so tired from trying to fight off what it knew was coming the moment he first bared his fangs at Alucard months ago.
Death. He was finally dying.
When he does finally die, it's a little more peaceful than he ever thought his death would be. Really, he was sure he'd die by the hand of a night creature or some asshole from Hell. MAYBE some drunken jerk a long way down the line of his life. But to go like this, in his bed with his Bonded near... well, shit. Helluva lot more worse ways to go, isn't there?
He just feels... tired, when he goes. As if keeping his eyes open is the most difficult thing he's ever done in his life and it's with a smile on his face and a breathless fuck you to this world, that he finally just... goes, a hiccup or snap of pain within his bonds cementing it. Trevor Belmont. House of Belmont. Last of the Belmonts. Has finally been laid to rest. ]

There's no fear in Berserker, despite the forceful display and equally forceful emotions he feels coming from Trevor. He's calm, almost indifferent, as he watches him fight the restraints. When he speaks, it's with an almost detached apathy. It's his way exerting control and, potentially, hopefully, helping to calm the vampire. ]
Trevor. You're awake, I see.
[ He doesn't reach out for him, not yet. ]

Ciarán.
[ He wears a smile on his lips but his fangs poking out tell of vicious intent. Blood. He wants blood so badly. ]
Think you can help me out of these?
[ So I can pin you to the ground and drink you dry? ]
no subject
No. You'll try to kill me and I'm not in the mood to fight you.
[ He rolls up his shirt sleeve above his elbow. The scales heavy on the top of his wrist thin out along the underside, leaving the veins there easily accessible. ]
You want blood, don't you? If I let you drink like you normally do...Well, I don't trust you right now. You're barely in control.

I'm... fine!
[ He snaps out, eyes locked on the dragon's arm before he forces himself to laugh and then smile, head falling back as he goes limp against the bed. ]
I'm fine... Ciarán.
no subject
Are you? You were staring at my arm...
[ Without averting his gaze, he slowly draws a claw down his own wrist. A red line forms in its wake, blood quickly welling to the surface of the fresh cut. ]
This is what you want, isn't it? I'm nothing more than a blood bag to you right now...

Somewhere deep within him, his fears are slowly becoming real. Things he had told to his Bonded, to Berserker. About how he was worried he might be different when he died and rose as a vampire. How he doesn't want to forget who he is. How he doesn't want to become a monster. Because there's being a monster and then there's being a Monster. It's why he had been banking on his bonds being able to pull him back. In case he somehow lost his way. He knew things about vampires, sure. But every one was different in some way, it seemed. And for Trevor... it's as if his fears were making him into what he didn't want to be. ]
Give me your fucking blood, Ciarán!
no subject
Ask me nicely and I'll let you drink from me.
[ He knows it's the changes making the vampire act this way. It's the same reason Berserker nearly attacked Diarmuid on his first experience with the full moons: instincts and changes forced upon him. That's why he won't hold this behavior against him later. He's been there himself, not in the same way, but it's still a deeply unpleasant memory. ]

Hands curl into tight fists as he continues to struggle, as red eyes glare at the blood which drips from the dragon's arm and how much of a FUCKING WASTE that all is when it could be sliding down his throat instead. Heels dig into the bed, back arching, Trevor pushing with all his vampire strength to the point where the bed begins to creak and crack before he finally falls against it with a frustrated growl. ]
Fucking... give me your blood. Please.

Berserker is still remarkably calm in the face of the nearly feral vampire. His faith in the enchanted restraints holding is stronger than any fear of him breaking out of them. ]
There you go... [ It's not patronizing, but it's said in the same tone one might use when confronting an injured animal. He bends down over Trevor and puts his bleeding wrist against his lips. ] Now drink.
[ He's in full control this way and easily able to stop the vampire from draining him dry. It ensures Berserker stays calm, too. Much better for both of them if he stays calm. ]

It's not like how he usually drinks from Berserker. Before, Trevor had always carried with him a certain amount of hesitation, always asking his friend to warn him should he be too rough, should he start to take too much and he always, always took care in how he let his fangs pierce his skin, not wanting to tear too roughly into his flesh.
But this? This is not anything like that and there's such a lack of care given as he feasts on the dragon's blood. Like a starved animal- monster feeding for the first time in however long, he swallows down the dragon's blood and feels its warmth sliding down his throat as he drinks... and drinks... and drinks. The sharp pinch of fangs as they tear into his skin, he growls as he holds tight to the dragon's wrist with his teeth, blood spilling down the corners of his mouth, dribbling over his chin, eyes a frenzied red.
But as he continues to drink, he's hit with not only the familiar bursts of colours and swirls which spin around him out of the corners of his eyes - and they're SO MUCH BRIGHTER now that he's a fully awakened vampire - but a rush of calm and content which he can taste on his tongue as he continues to drink. It... slows him down. Slows his frenzied thoughts and his desperate pulling of blood into his mouth. Slows it to a point where his eyes soften some around the edge and he hums softly as he watches the colours swirl around him from Berserker's blood. He feels... nice. Not as... angry or frustrated or desperate for blood. He just feels calm. ]

It pays off. The frenzy fades, which is a relief. He strokes the vampire's hair with his free hand as everything slowly calms down, a further reassurance. The dragon lets him feed for a few moments longer before he pulls his arm back.
...Yeah, that's going to need some attention later. ]
Better now?

But his eyes remain red, despite the calm sort of daze that's come over him, and he finds himself leaning for the dragon's hand, quietly seeking that gentle affection when slowed down as much as he now is.
A hum, he lets his eyes fall shut, head bowing. ]
Mmmmmmyup. Feels... slow.
no subject
[ He'd been counting on his blood having...well, not a calming effect, but at least an effect. There's no more apparent hostility, so he continues to stroke Trevor's hair. Him being high is better than blood-starved like he was. ]
You'll be fine in a little while. Just enjoy that feeling for now.
no subject
You're staying here?
[ He asks, red eyes lazily looking up to him with a tilt of his head. ]
no subject
[ A part of him doesn't want to, but...he probably should. Now that he's calmer, it would be easier for them to handle him. ]
no subject
So, leaning back some, pressing lazily against the restraints, he hums. Eyes still sharp and red, blood on his lips and chin. ]
Stay... for a bit?
no subject
Alright. As long as you need me, then.
