Books, Books, and You Guessed It, More Books: Coven Library (OPEN)

[To some, doing research is far from relaxing. But in the case of the woman curled up in a chair in the corner of some far section, books are a relaxing matter. With the stress for the past couple of moons mostly gone, Mira can get back to work on researching and reading up on new schools of magic. While she does enjoy her alchemy and offensive magics, she needs to focus more on the school she has taken some smaller looks in but important for some: Illusions.

Now she isn't the type to like to hide herself but she can see the benefits for it. That and ponder how to combine this art with the other magics already learned. Mira likes a challenge and as long as she's not overworking her body, it should be fine. But she may have grabbed a few more books than expected. Did you need that book on Illusions? She may have it so it wouldn't be harmful to ask about it.]

What Is Shopping For Yourself?: Shopping District (OPEN)

[Shopping for Mira usually consists of getting either potion ingredients or food and sundries for the house. When it comes to herself, anything outside of the essentials is rather off limits for her. Blame her own upbringing but Mira didn't mind it. She didn't pay much attention to clothing and fashion; her idea of fashion is 'is it comfortable and if it is sturdy enough for more grueling activities.

She can't wear her armor everywhere after all.

But it's one store that Mira can't help but stop and look through the window, noticing the clothing inside. There's a variety between trousers and suits and even dresses and skirts. And they certainly look comfortable to walk around in...]

Wait, what am I doing? I shouldn't even think about it.

[Yeah, poor person guilt here. Hard to get rid of.]

If All Else Fails...Tea: DiplomaTea (OPEN)

[Libraries are not good for wanting to eat or drink since it may hurt the books. But thankfully, Mira remembers the shop where the Valentione's celebration was held and she was in the mood for some good tea. With her nose in a book, she is also going to be trying some teas.

And by trying, we mean order several different blends at once and the table having several cups. What? She's adventerous. Mild flavor? Crazy flavor? She's trying it. Don't question it...or maybe you should.]

To Feel The Warmth Of Another: House Darkness (Closed to Housemates)

[Emotions have been tough to deal with lately. She gets that with the conversations between those she knows and the past events. But oddly enough, she gets an idea and honestly does not know where it will lead. However, they will notice the extra pillows and blankets somehow going missing if they need one.

But in reality, they're all in the living area as Mira is arranging them in some odd way with any tables or chairs pushed off to the side. Girl, what are you doing?]

Good thing you've finally accepted that I speak nothing but the truth.

[Initially it might've been the same, one Ascian the same as another; there had been no chance for divergence. For experience.

But now... a lot of things had happened, not all to the good. Mostly not to the good, in fact. Things were- different, and where they'd end up, he didn't know.]

And you should know by now that you hardly need to ask if you can ask.

[A slight chuckle as she mentally takes a breath because this is new territory for her and Halone forfend, Mira is nervous. For many different reasons.]

I know we briefly talked about it when I was sick but...I was wondering if you would still be interested in doing something together. Just the two of us?

Ah yes, we did speak of that, didn't we?

[He hadn't forgotten, odd offer as it had been. And the Ascian peers that little bit closer at her for a moment, as if needing to check that she really was well again. Was she nervous about this? He couldn't see why, and it was a touch amusing.]

But yes... I suppose you've earned the reward of my company. Have you selected a location for us?

[Earned it hmm? Also why are you staring at her so intently now? She's been resting and cutting back on the work a bit more, no need to worry.]

I was hoping to try a park for what I have in mind but learning that they're rather nonexistent...[But then she remembers the conversation with Mettaton along with the minor scare a few minutes prior with the deep sleeping. Maybe that might work for now. Naturally, she would have to shoo the kids out but it can work. Never underestimate a determined mortal wanting to do good for someone.]

But maybe we can try a picnic in the backyard at night.

[It's too bad about the theaters in the city, she would have tried those instead. All she can hope now is that it sounds like a decent idea.]

[Good Mira, keep it up. Eventually he'll trust you to look after yourself again.]

Well... at the very least, you're not dragging me terribly far.

[That counted as approval, right? But it sounded like a fine enough place to him. And the point was the deliberate companionship in the end; any setting which facilitated that was an appropriate one, as far as he was concerned.

And if he hadn't gotten this excessive tiredness sorted and passed out again... better to not stray too far from the house.]

Was there a day you had in mind for this?

Mayhap next time we can get more adventurous.

[And actually look around to see if something sparks her mind OR if the city and Coven doesn't implode on itself. But the fact remains that he did not say no and was even asking for a time. So that has to count as a positive. So how long will it take to get everytime set up and planned? And not fall on a festival time? Halone knows Tataru would be upset if it happens on Little Ladies' Day.]

I was thinking next week since there are not any celebrations around that time. If you are not busy...?

[He sighs, as though this were all a terrible inconvenience. Planning to spend time with someone he didn't dislike.]

I suppose I can find a bit of time for you then.

[Though he did generally keep himself busy, it was with his own projects which he could technically work on at times of his own choosing. Exactly as he preferred.

...He'd just have to make sure to sleep enough beforehand, to minimize the chance of becoming unconscious mid-date. That would probably be considered rude by most people, and the Ascian preferred his rudeness to be both conscious and deliberate.]

[It's a good thing Mira is learning the language of Tsundere and with his reply, she grins and shifts to kiss his cheek.]

I'll be sure not to disappoint you.

[Yeah, she likes him awake more when she does things like this. Just to see the reaction as she can't help but curl up against him.]

[Then it probably shouldn't come as a surprise that her look and that kiss gets a frown and a skeptical look in reply, though no attempt to move away from her or anything.

And though he does let go of Mira's hand, it's to wrap an arm around her shoulders instead, encouraging the comfortable curling. Though if he gets too comfortable, he's likely to fall asleep again.]

I would hope not. You already have once, [What with becoming ill and all. Ignoring the 'failing to contain the Light' thing, since he technically hasn't seen that.] that's more than enough.

[She would worry if he moved away from her gesture but it's simply how the Ascian acts and understands it. So she believes. Mira thinks she did correctly just because he's encouraging the contact.

And let's not talk about the holding in light bit right now. It's not needed right now but she has an idea which matter he is referring to.]

I have no intent on an encore of that. I hate staying in bed...with some exceptions.

I noticed. You seemed... quite reluctant to stay down despite it being in your best of interests.

[Mortals did scurry around a lot, didn't they.]

I don't see why. Being ill 'tis a fine excuse to not have to leave one's bed or do anything at all.

I've always hated staying down, even as a child. Thankfully then it was simple to give me a tome and small busywork just to stay out of trouble.

[Sometimes it's easier when one is younger. Now that she's older, it's easier for her to get bored and naturally, Mira wants to relieve it. But again, Ishgard and working conditions for the poorer folk were not as ideal and combine the constant calling on the Warrior of Light to save every cat up on a rooftop, can one blame her for acting as such?]

Perhaps I am too used to being in motion that staying down is a foreign concept. But I am learning to not run at a fiery namazu's pace.

I suppose learning slowly is better than not at all.

[Not that humanity had much time to spend on taking their time with anything. It was no wonder they all died in ignorance, really.]

Not every crisis relies on your specific intervention. And especially not every trifling matter... you should value your own energies more.

To let others do their own work? Wouldn't that be a wonderful thing to not worry about if some would stop calling on me.

[There's a bit of a tense grip as Mira has to think on the times where she almost was ready to relax but some form of misfortune ended up calling her away to work. Someone summoned a primal because people were being dumb and provoking a beast tribe or someone needs to be a babysitter while the politicians did they job and leaving the one with no knowledge of diplomacy to just watch and make sure no one stabbed each other.]

Perhaps a little focus on myself is not a bad idea.

Just because they call on you doesn't mean you have to listen.

[Slightly exasperated that he even has to point this out. Just leave the primals and the politicians alone, they can sort themselves out. He rubs absently a bit at Mira's shoulder.]
