Books, Books, and You Guessed It, More Books: Coven Library (OPEN)

[To some, doing research is far from relaxing. But in the case of the woman curled up in a chair in the corner of some far section, books are a relaxing matter. With the stress for the past couple of moons mostly gone, Mira can get back to work on researching and reading up on new schools of magic. While she does enjoy her alchemy and offensive magics, she needs to focus more on the school she has taken some smaller looks in but important for some: Illusions.

Now she isn't the type to like to hide herself but she can see the benefits for it. That and ponder how to combine this art with the other magics already learned. Mira likes a challenge and as long as she's not overworking her body, it should be fine. But she may have grabbed a few more books than expected. Did you need that book on Illusions? She may have it so it wouldn't be harmful to ask about it.]

What Is Shopping For Yourself?: Shopping District (OPEN)

[Shopping for Mira usually consists of getting either potion ingredients or food and sundries for the house. When it comes to herself, anything outside of the essentials is rather off limits for her. Blame her own upbringing but Mira didn't mind it. She didn't pay much attention to clothing and fashion; her idea of fashion is 'is it comfortable and if it is sturdy enough for more grueling activities.

She can't wear her armor everywhere after all.

But it's one store that Mira can't help but stop and look through the window, noticing the clothing inside. There's a variety between trousers and suits and even dresses and skirts. And they certainly look comfortable to walk around in...]

Wait, what am I doing? I shouldn't even think about it.

[Yeah, poor person guilt here. Hard to get rid of.]

If All Else Fails...Tea: DiplomaTea (OPEN)

[Libraries are not good for wanting to eat or drink since it may hurt the books. But thankfully, Mira remembers the shop where the Valentione's celebration was held and she was in the mood for some good tea. With her nose in a book, she is also going to be trying some teas.

And by trying, we mean order several different blends at once and the table having several cups. What? She's adventerous. Mild flavor? Crazy flavor? She's trying it. Don't question it...or maybe you should.]

Oh...what is this I'm tasting?

To Feel The Warmth Of Another: House Darkness (Closed to Housemates)

[Emotions have been tough to deal with lately. She gets that with the conversations between those she knows and the past events. But oddly enough, she gets an idea and honestly does not know where it will lead. However, they will notice the extra pillows and blankets somehow going missing if they need one.

But in reality, they're all in the living area as Mira is arranging them in some odd way with any tables or chairs pushed off to the side. Girl, what are you doing?]

[ It's not that rare to walk through the shopping district and spot someone you know wandering around there as well. So at first Asahi doesn't think much of it when she spots Mira around. She's actually just about to walk on regularly until she overhears the other saying that.

And that draws the girl's attention just enough to stop and instead make her way through the crowd until she's over next to Mira. ]

You shouldn't think about what?

[ Maybe at least pretend to be polite and act like you weren't eavesdropping, Asahi!! ]

Oh!

[Man, she should really watch for anyone around. Or keep her thoughts to herself.]

'Twas nothing important, simply speaking to myself. How have you been?

[Emet-Selch had been feeling increasingly tired, as of late.

At first, he'd written it off as part of his healing. The injuries he'd sustained during captivity had been extensive, and still weren't completely well. And then, he'd assumed he'd simply caught the edge of whatever illness Mira had been suffering from; he'd certainly been around her enough to pick up something of it.

But this persisted. And rather than getting better, it was getting worse. On the plus side, he was finding it easier to drop off to sleep, even when alone- which he'd been having problems with, after the kidnapping. On the (very large) minus side, he'd started falling asleep even when he had no intention of it. Getting enough hours during the night tended to stave off the worst of it, but occasionally he misjudged.

Fortunately, he was back at the house this time. Coming inside, he stares at... whatever the hell was going on here. Even as he approaches the collection of pillows to try and figure out why they were there, and why all the furniture was rearranged, he can feel that spike in lethargy, in weakness, a darkness looming just behind his eyes. It's all he can do to make it to those pillows and blankets before collapsing, curled half upon his side, completely unconscious.

He doesn't appear unwell, at least, only asleep. And extremely difficult to rouse, when he's like this, so hopefully he's not too much in the way of anything.]

[It was only five minutes from the hall closet to the living room and Mira is grabbing the rest of the blankets. She is about to arrange them but seeing a large body occupying the space is a bit of a concern. Moreso when it is the one man who has a habit of sleeping constantly. How...? Why?]

And now I know a way to lure someone in. Good to know for the future.

[She shrugs as she gets on her knees and crawls towards the ascian instead of trying to wake him up like a normal person. You know, by yelling for them to wake their arse up. But Mira may have another way...by leaning in and kissing his cheek.]

You may need some more blankets if you wish to sleep here, Hades.

[Most strays you lure in with food; with Ascians (or at least this particular Ascian) it's a nest for naps. Sorry Mira, gentleness and affection isn't enough to wake him up; when he falls asleep these days, he falls hard.

He does shift just slightly, though, making a sound that's reminiscent of a faint sigh; coincidence, or a result of that kiss? It's hard to tell.... Though in any case, 'not having enough blankets' doesn't seem to be be a deterrent, you might just have to work around him for the time being. Or roll him out of the way, if necessary.]

[That's strange. Wouldn't physical contact be enough to wake him up? Or maybe he is just more tired...how did Ascians handle being in one form for so long? Mira makes a noise at lack of reaction (a small one) and she wants to try and move him if his slumber is that deep.]

I know this is what I had planned but I still need to get everything set up.

[And he also happens to be heavy, knowing full well knowing that weight on multiple occasions.]

I wonder if I can work around him...

[Said to no one in particular but Mira does continue to do her business; getting the pillows set up so everyone would be comfortable including slipping one under Hades's head. And then she had to try and lift him up to scoot the blankets in. Just like moving a big fat cat except less squish.]

...hells, he really is tired...

[She would test it out but this is the living room.]

[Test out what, Mira.

And much like a cat, Emet-Selch makes no attempt to move out of the way or make Mira's job of slipping blankets underneath him any easier. Though in his case it is due to unconsciousness rather than indifference. There is some small murmuring on his part from being shifted, getting his own pillow- but it stops as soon as the contact stops.

Whenever he wakes up, he might have some small appreciation for these attempts towards his comfort, but right now all he does is curl up a little bit more.]

[But unlike Breezy, who Mira can just lift up, she cannot do it to her Bonded. Unless it's Irhya in bat form. Watching the ascian curl around himself, the dark knight can't help but wonder what exactly is the cause of this deep sleep. Surely, it is only because of exhaustion? Mira can't help but put her inner wrist on his forehead, not feeling any kind of sign of sickness.]

Perhaps you are just that tired.

[There's a moment when she can't help but give their tether a gentle stroke before she slowly stands up and turns around to grab a few books. Not to mention start up water for tea. Speaking of cats, the gaelkitten waddles in the room and seeing the tall sleeping one makes her want to take a nap as well. While there are plenty of pillows, nothing beats making one's self into a loaf and resting on the best part of a mortal. In this case, the Ascian's face. Just like all cats it seems. Meanwhile, Mira has no idea this is happening and hopefully it won't be so bad.]

[ Iramaat is enjoying her time out and about again, especially after last month. She's still feeling... down, but that can't be helped can it? She's passing by when she hears the little exclamation and she pauses and backtracks slightly to get a better look.

Huh.

She can put two and two together here. ]

Why not?

[ She interjects herself as smoothly as she can. ]

Isn't it a good thing to give yourself a gift now and again?

[Ok, next time only mention the thing to herself. In her head. Because strangers asking her this is awkward as hell.]

Oh no, I'm fine. It is something I do not need.

[Need and want are different beasts but still...]

[ Iramaat taps her chin, apparently in thought. ]

But you are considering it, aren't you? Why not at least try something on? Just in case.

[ Iramaat likes helping people. Or "helping". ]

Why though?

[Don't you try something on with the intent to buy?]

[ Iramaat shrugs. This is just how she be. ]

[Somewhere in his sleep, the brush of the tether was pleasant, soothing- and it probably would've made his sleep that bit better if he'd been allowed to continue it.

But while even the presence of a cat on his face wasn't enough to immediately wake the Ascian, not being able to breathe properly, however, was. And as the moments drifted by, air replaced by fur, this was finally enough to drag the man unwillingly back towards the conscious world. Shoving a protesting cat from his face with a start (while wincing at the prick of claws as she Disagreed with being so rudely disturbed), he half-sits up, only partially awake, and entirely unsure of what was going on.]

...not again.

[Is the only thing he manages to say, muttered to himself, still ascertaining that yes, this was not a normal napping spot (despite the surprising presence of pillows? and blankets? what was that about--), and yet he had been passed out in it regardless. And that he's about ten seconds away from doing it again.]

[Hey that was her nice sleeping spot and you had to ruin, you big dumb mortal! Breezy lets out an annoyed hiss before running off into the kitchen just as her owner comes back out with a few of the mentioned books in her hands.]

What in Halone's name has gotten into you, furball?

[Time to assess the scene: cat is angry about something and runs off and it appears someone has finally woken up. Setting the tomes on the nearest chair, Mira folds her arms and sighs.]

Nice to see you awake, Hades. I would have thought with all that moving around, it would have roused you.

[Scowling at a cat is never a very impressive thing, and it's even less so when it's done by someone not fully conscious and with eyes barely open enough to discern the general direction of the retreating feline.

With a sigh, the look is turned towards Mira instead, where it's likely to have just as much of an effect.]

Awake is rather optimistic of you....

[Punctuated with a yawn as he tries to sit up properly. Tries to keep his eyes open (with less success).]

And what is all- this- about.

[He doesn't even bother to gesture at his surroundings, as though that's the real question here, not remotely concerned about potentially being in the way of whatever it was Mira was doing.]

A few. But I am rather interested in why you believe I should.

[Yes, why is a stranger suddenly interested in her dumb thoughts?]

I'm interested in people and you seemed to be seeking advice... or at least seemed to on the cusp of a dilemma.

[ Iramaat shrugs. ]

Isn't that reason enough?

[ Also she's nosy and likes sticking into things she shouldn't. ]

Considering not only did I manage to kiss you but somehow managed to move your body around without a single peep? You must have been in some deep sleep.

[And quickly too, even for Ascians who enjoy napping. You're welcome for the pillows by the way.]

Although it did make it easier for what I was planning since the idea was to get everyone in the house to maybe relax and sleep in the same room for one night.

In other words, you simply wished to?

[Is this how she was with Vani? Fury help her. Besides, what was she going to say? 'I like the clothes in there but my brain is yelling about how there are more important things'?]

Did you...?

[He's not entirely pleased about that. Not at Mira's actions, which are fine (apart from, perhaps, being shuffled around like a sack of meat), but that he'd been unaware of them. He'd look concerned if he didn't look tired.]

And have you warned anyone else about this idea?

Essentially. I enjoy being helpful.

[ Or not helpful. Depends on the circumstances, really. ]

You're not offended, are you?

[It was tough! You are heavy! But this makes it all the weirder.]

Aye, but I did try to wake you first.

[There might be a bit of concern in her tone. What exactly has he been doing to make himself so sleepy? But to the matter at hand, she gives a small chuckle but one of nervousness.]

'Twas more of a spur of the moment matter. Nary a bell before I had the idea considering mayhap we all needed to relax somehow.

More surprised really. You need not concern yourself with my small matters.

[She does take a glance back at the clothes for a brief second. It would be a little nice to have something...newer?]

[Mira's concern is noted, but ignored; Emet-Selch was beginning to get the uncomfortable feeling that his Bonds were draining him more than he'd expected, but he wasn't about to volunteer that information. Even if it were true- what could he do about it? Apart from sleep more, he supposed.]

And how do you intend to convince the others...? Not that I believe Irhya would mind curling down with the pair of us, [Possibly even in a different context than this, really.] but how will you go about luring Vanitas into your trap?

[The Ascian himself would've been somewhat dubious about all this if he hadn't already fallen asleep in the middle of it, but now that he was there, he didn't care to move.]
