[So it seems for a certain heart filled day, Caren had been working hard. Which meant...if She knew you, it was likely a small package was shoved into your hands.]

Here. Happy Valentines day.

A check up

[She could be found around her garden, or at her house, all bundled up, socks on her wings and tails. And she was...a very sleepy looking bean, but in smelling or hearing, she became alert, and glanced over.]

Oh. This is a surprise. What brings you here?

[She had been unsure of coming but...she made a promise. If she didn't come, and she couldn't find anyone to conduct her lessons- or think of it- then she had to do it herself. She had to continue her lessons in Dorchact.

Also, she could reach all of her kitchen things. That made it appealing.

She was more animated here, for all that she was bundled up, and full of gesturing and explaining how to make a particular dish.

She even came around to give samples of biscotti and whatever dish she just taught, with a small smile and nods, offering comments and nods of encouragement.]

[She didn't just work in the former Foggy city though. She still had shifts at Knit Wit, with the alterists. At least it met she had to sit for long periods of time.

But hearing the ringing of the door, she stood up, nodding politely.]

[Natsuru had certainly blossomed, so to speak, since she'd last seen Caren. Even smaller in stature compared to even a few months ago, newly grown wings folded back, and with feathery antennae poking out from her matching-colored hair - but her face and general shape are recognizable enough. She's carrying a bag hooked under her elbow, planning on getting to a few deliveries of her own, when suddenly the familiar chimera approaches.]

Eh?

[She blinks, clearly surprised, and only realizes after a moment that she's now holding that package in her hands. Realization dawns, and combines with memories of Caren's teasing to bring a light flush to her cheeks.]

Oh! Um... thank you?

[She knows this has to be friend chocolate. She's not that easily flustered. But coming from someone she only sort of knows, it's still a surprise! And now she's second-guessing her own participation in the holiday.]

Wait... H-How much are you giving out? Is it really okay for me to have some?

[Oh, she's turning into a fae, is she? She hadn't seen many. But she also remembered how she had gotten her into the lingerie.

It wouldn't fit now huh.]

Wait a minute... it's my first time doing this, and I made a lot.

[She stashes the chocolate she'd been given in a hidden pocket in her dress, and immediately starts rustling through the bag she's carrying.]

It's okay if it's not an obligation gift, right? It's like... 'let's be friends' chocolate.

[The small bundle of homemade chocolates she pulls out is labeled with that very phrase. "Let's be friends." Saying it out loud too is making her blush so hard. She's just trying to emulate Towa and Marie a little here, making an offer of friendship to someone she barely knows. But she's clearly still so very awkward about it... and not just because Caren teased her a lot that one time.]

[She'd still like to see the lingerie but that's mostly to make her squirm.]

[Oh hey, is this friendship chocolate? Looks like it. Caren took it carefully, in part because of her gloved hands.]

Just friends, correct? No desire for more between us?

[Double checking and messing with her.]

[She blushes harder at the teasing, even having a pretty good idea that's what it is. Flustered, she blurts out the first response that comes to mind.]

Ah... I have a girlfriend!

[Whoops. Now saying that is getting her flustered. She's being teased by one pretty girl while thinking of another pretty girl she'd be embarrassed to be seen by right now. Great.]

Oh, a girlfriend now? Good for you.

[She tilted her head, and smiled.]

Does that mean you were interested in a one time threesome?

[She's very emphatic! And serious! And belatedly wonders if she'd somehow just implied Caren isn't attractive by being so emphatic and serious.]

[She insists, even as her face screams that Caren hit the nail on the head with the virgin comment. She has the classic schoolgirl blush of one vaguely interested but also inexperienced and nervous and even a little scared of the idea. But that's still not the point!]

[Natsuru probably can't make Caren stop. But she's genuinely sincere in this answer, and not flailing about too terribly at the moment. Maybe that'll count for something.]

[Poor thing. She could tease further on that, but that sincere answer...that had her tilt her head, thinking on it. Huh.]

[That doesn't have a teasing lilt at all. She's more curious as to how that could be possible.]

[Is... this a trap? Her question seems so sincere, but Natsuru doesn't trust her own intuition about these things.

She's also too guileless not to answer.]

I... well, I don't know her reasons. Maybe it's just me. But I wasn't... expecting to be in a relationship like this.

So I'm kind of... waiting to feel comfortable with... that part.

[It's a reasonable and honest explanation, she thinks. If a bit vague on specific reasons.]

And besides, we haven't even been dating that long! It's only been a few months.

[Thank goodness for being so guileless. Else, Caren would have been annoyed at being denied. She never really encountered something like this.]

Well unless she told you, you wouldn't know. And she may lie to you anyway.

[She tilted her head.]

[She wasn't trying to taunt for once. She was just curious.]

[She's always just avoided thinking about it yet. She figured they have time! But now that she's actually thinking about it... maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to at least be open to the possibility.]

[Looking up to Caren again, the color flares up in her cheeks. She doesn't have to say it out loud in public like this!]

[They do have time, but some things need to be thought about! But...also it's fun to see her think about it. And then she realizes a little of what Caren is doing.

And naturally she smirks a little.]
