The Room where it happens (open catch all!)
Who: Sokie and you!
When: All month
Where: All over the city and on the outskirts
What: Open starters for Sokie as she tries to be productive!
Warnings: TBA
I: Parliament
[There was a lot of listening on Sokie's part, which may have seemed unusual for those who Kew her. Usually she was chatty, filled with charm and wit- but in Parliament, she dressed in a formal business suit and took notes (and also doodled). In exiting a meeting, she paused outside of the building and took a few moments to stretch. Her butt felt sore for sitting still so long.]
My butt hurts. I guess this is why I've always turned down a desk job.
[She needed to do some yoga and have a run. And a bath.]
II: Radio Hour
[Anyone and everyone could call or text in, but Sokie would stay on voice since...well, she was on the morning hour with her radio advice show. Which was on right now, live.]
Hello dear listener, welcome to An Undertaking with Undertown. What question can I answer today?
III: Teaching Magic
[She left a notice on te boards again. It wasn't good last month, by this time...maybe She could help some of the newbies learn their magic or how to counter it.
She asked them to meet at the entry of Haven, and after some introductions, things would move on from there. Well. She got to the point really.]
So, what do you want to learn today?
IV: A different kind of practice
[It was true she had a baton, but it was the kidnapping and speaking to Sephiroth that was a wake up call. Heck, she might have even been denying it, since the snow storm.
But she found a smithy and was going through the weapons, one by one, trying to find which would suit her best. So far, nothing really caught her eye but...she found one, and lightly twirled tin in one hand.]
It feels nicer but I think I need to put this through its paces.
...hey. You wouldn't mind going for a round, right?
[Sorry curious customer and or passerby. Sokie wants a smol fite.]
V: A moment of quiet
[She was in a corner of a cafe, or maybe just in Diplomatea. As usual, there were books around her, papers of various formulae, but she seemed more interested in her tea or coffee then she was in her work. Seeing someone nearby, she made a beckoning motion with her hand.]
Don't worry, I can move my stuff. Why don't you come sit?
VI: Wildcard
All other options, including hunting outside of the city can be done here! Any questions, comments, can be directed to my discord or at my plurk!

[Yeah, she doesn't want to lose a limb either, but this is a friendly spar, and a calm one at that. The push back causes her to woop, and she shifts her spear so the blade takes the hit, rather then her skin.]
Ah, close one!
no subject
[Ok good, her reflexes are pretty in tune. but what Mira says next may surprise her or not.]
Actually, my intent was never to have hit you then. 'Twas more of a reflex I wished to see for myself. This is supposed to be a spar after all.
[AKA 'Oh I didn't miss, I meant that'.]
no subject
[Yeah she's taunting purposefully. So she twists her spear, and goes for another thrust, this time aiming for Mira's hip.
Again, just to see if she'll block or strike instead.]
no subject
[The jokes definitely goes over her head but she sees the attack coming for her side. Instead of blocking, Mira moves her body to try and dodge while using Shadowbringer to strike the tip instead. Or try to pull it down, either works for her.]
no subject
[Whoops, down goes her spear! She grunted, and her shoulders bunched, moving to pull her spear back up-]
Cutting my clothes to ribbons!
no subject
[It's getting to her but not in the assumed way; sounds more like a mother would as she looks down and...oh. Can't get her weapon out? Mira does end up lifting her sword up enough that it can be pulled out.]
What? It would be a boring spar if that was the end of it.
no subject
[Yeah, she's not getting through, but she's enjoying herself so. It's fine. With a grunt, and using her shoulders and legs, she pulls her spear out, and spun it, moving back into a more battle ready pose.]
It would be, so! Thank you for your generosity. Ready to go?
no subject
[Said with a sigh as she shakes her head. This is the most strange kind of conversation during a battle and she fought some pretty boy who sounded turned on at the aspect of hunting. Yeah, Zenos is fucking weird. But at her question, Mira nods and makes the next move by rushing forward, blade side pointed out too strike at the lance in means to push her opponent a bit. Quite literally.]
no subject
[And there she goes, pushed and then-needing to move backwards so she was only caught a bit by the hilt. Not the full blow, but enough to give her some aching bruises.]
no subject
[Countdown in 3...2...1...
And then it clicks. She...she was doing the flirting thing, wasn't she? Oh shite. Mira's goes bright red in the face, enough to be distracted and can't help but wave one arm in reply.]
I-I-I didn't realize that was a tactic to be used!
no subject
You said so yourself, anything goes so long as it's not an attempt to kill.
It's effective now that you realize what's up, mm?
no subject
[Because she will now know that any type of talk like that would just be a distraction. Thankfully no one knows a charming spell; we don't need another primal being to declare to 'rest your weary soul in their bosom'. Yes, that's a thing.]
no subject
Taunts are easy. Flirtations, not so much.
no subject
[Hey if flirting is allowed, does that mean-]
If we're only sparring, will it be fine to use magic too?
no subject
[She held up a finger.]
Because if we use magic, I will take this far too seriously, and I may end up killing you. And that'd be bad for both of us.
