The Room where it happens (open catch all!)
Who: Sokie and you!
When: All month
Where: All over the city and on the outskirts
What: Open starters for Sokie as she tries to be productive!
Warnings: TBA
I: Parliament
[There was a lot of listening on Sokie's part, which may have seemed unusual for those who Kew her. Usually she was chatty, filled with charm and wit- but in Parliament, she dressed in a formal business suit and took notes (and also doodled). In exiting a meeting, she paused outside of the building and took a few moments to stretch. Her butt felt sore for sitting still so long.]
My butt hurts. I guess this is why I've always turned down a desk job.
[She needed to do some yoga and have a run. And a bath.]
II: Radio Hour
[Anyone and everyone could call or text in, but Sokie would stay on voice since...well, she was on the morning hour with her radio advice show. Which was on right now, live.]
Hello dear listener, welcome to An Undertaking with Undertown. What question can I answer today?
III: Teaching Magic
[She left a notice on te boards again. It wasn't good last month, by this time...maybe She could help some of the newbies learn their magic or how to counter it.
She asked them to meet at the entry of Haven, and after some introductions, things would move on from there. Well. She got to the point really.]
So, what do you want to learn today?
IV: A different kind of practice
[It was true she had a baton, but it was the kidnapping and speaking to Sephiroth that was a wake up call. Heck, she might have even been denying it, since the snow storm.
But she found a smithy and was going through the weapons, one by one, trying to find which would suit her best. So far, nothing really caught her eye but...she found one, and lightly twirled tin in one hand.]
It feels nicer but I think I need to put this through its paces.
...hey. You wouldn't mind going for a round, right?
[Sorry curious customer and or passerby. Sokie wants a smol fite.]
V: A moment of quiet
[She was in a corner of a cafe, or maybe just in Diplomatea. As usual, there were books around her, papers of various formulae, but she seemed more interested in her tea or coffee then she was in her work. Seeing someone nearby, she made a beckoning motion with her hand.]
Don't worry, I can move my stuff. Why don't you come sit?
VI: Wildcard
All other options, including hunting outside of the city can be done here! Any questions, comments, can be directed to my discord or at my plurk!

I mean, fair. You can see about getting some nuts for protein too.
no subject
[ Do you really think he's malnourished? He'd say look at his abs, but it's cold, and he doesn't want to move layers around.
Besides, aside from the fun ways, he gets a little too much protein around the full moons. Faun stomachs, man. ]
no subject
[She knows what's up. She's with Everett at least once during a Full Moon.]
no subject
[ It's probably because of him being so borderline feral, that on the moons he just... Crosses some lines that leave him sick with the idea of what he did.
But he's definitely not denying the other part of his diet. ]
no subject
[Yeah there were some weird benefits to nearly being feral. Not always. But soft hair was nice.]
no subject
[ Aside from a protein-rich diet, he just has the right genes for soft hair. Also, of course a faun would never cold water themselves. ]
no subject
Not for all of it, just like ten seconds at the end. I do that with mine.
[Her hair was wavey, but it was soft!!!]
no subject
[ Yet your hair wasn't quite this wavy/wild back in the beginning months, Judar. It was thick, but considerably straighter. ]
no subject
[She motioned to her wavey hair]
Turns into one big poof. That's why I keep it short.
no subject
[ And while pretty wavy, and easy to get those crossed with one another, or messy, he doesn't go full 'poof.' Maybe it'd get close to its own kind if it was actually pretty short. ]
no subject
Would you want to cut your hair? Especially with summer coming up?
[But you know. He might not another change.]
no subject
[ It sounds like a thing that'd be passed on- He wouldn't really know for sure. Save for some glimpses in what's essentially a photo, he didn't know those people. ]
No way. I cut my hair once my entire life, here, and only because I needed the extra boost in cunes for getting started. I've got no plans on cutting it again. At least this way it can all be tied back.
no subject
[So she's noticed over time. Though hearing that made her chuckle.]
Not even to thin it out a bit? Still long, still possible to tie it back?
no subject
[ While he's got plenty of uneven hairs sticking out on top of his head, with the bangs, the braids he's used generally stay nice, smooth and even due to the length being relatively the same. ]
Not like I'd need to. If it causes troubles in the summer, magic can be used.
no subject
[She's only semi joking.]
But sure, okay, I was just curious.
no subject
[ Otherwise it'd get more in the way than needed. He knows how to maneuver better with the hair artificially lighter, after all. ]
I got a more permanently enchanted hair tie for that. If the summer ends up being warmer than what I'm used to, I'll get something for that, too.
no subject
Smart move. You know...if Caster doesn't have anything for that, you could ask Asura.
He's good at magetech stuff.
no subject
Dunno if I've met an Asura, but I am helping Cú to widen his enchanting selection.
[ He's got a good hang on what he's doing, but like Waver, Judar was good at developing/formulating ones that weren't done yet. ]
no subject
Aaaah. Cú and I collaborate sometimes. Asura- you can't miss him. Big, beefy, has dragon horns and tends to be the loudest most jovial guy in the room.
He's smarter then he acts.
no subject
The description does seem somewhat familiar, though. Y'know, for all that 'big, beefy' and having 'dragon horns' gets you. ]
If he's someone that likes joining in with music, I remember someone like that while I was doing some music rounds in Dorchacht.
no subject
...oh, oh boy. That...does remind her of some dumb things.]
...did he happen to have a flute? Or a glittery butterfly?
no subject
A wooden flute I think, yeah. I think he heard my music before, because he joined in like he knew how it was meant to go.
[ Given how often Judar would go around both Aefenglom and Dorchacht to play music for money, that's not so unexpected. ]
no subject
[She shrugged.]
But he'd be good to ask for stuff. He's good with his hands.
no subject
I'll keep that in mind... If I ever see him again.
no subject
Sure. I'm sure you'd like him...if only for a little while.
