[ the voice was familiar enough to pull his attention away from the — yes, she guessed it — potatoes he was cleaning and prepping. it was just as foreign as it was familiar, however. maybe it was because it was less scolding or fiery? who knows! admittedly, the mood is much lighter than it was before. ]

Jorah goes to wipe his hands clean, and he takes a moment to awkwardly look at his own wrists as if he was debating on offering to greet her with a shake. he opts to avoid that, feeling caution might work better for him than to offer physical contact. ]

We must have been missing each other this entire time. I surely would have picked you out before now. Do you make this a regular visit?
