[ they didn't mention it was unsafe to live outside Aefenglom as a means of keeping you in the city, apparently. Jorah knew that from being out of the walls more often than not, but that didn't stop Daenerys from wanting to move. even old Edre Bern insisted that the khaleesi should know that her farmlands weren't immune to the lovely company that Shades decide to provide every now and again.

tonight would be one of those nights. it's a big enough piece of land for things to take place where they would be oblivious to it all until come morning, but there's no hiding the sound of a handful of horses getting startled and stampeding out of the barn house. Jorah was quick to wake, get dressed and grab his sword with a lit torch. he was not gentle in his demanding Dany remain inside — sorry Dany — and was outside as soon as possible. maybe you are a guest of his or Dany's (prior CR), or perhaps you stayed overnight after finding work the day or days before. either way, Jorah is less hesitant to invite others to follow, because he knows what was likely in the barn.

time to fight a Shade. ding, ding, ding. round one begin.

alternatively, the morning after will be just as eventful. sleepless Jorah will need help finding the horses that ran amok, so he'll be out on his own horse looking for them to lasso and herd back to the farm. please help a guy out. he's good at a lot, but one man horse-wrangling is not fun. ]
