You are witnessing the might of Pharaoh.
[Ozymandias places a hand on the divine beast's shoulder and it serves a twofold purpose. He is not actually bragging about his abilities in conjuration -- at least not so directly at the moment -- but indicating the sphinx itself. With an army of them in his own world, their mean existence and obedience to him is a point of pride for Ozymandias. It also serves to remove the tension from the sphinx's posture. Fugo does not need to be watched like that.]
Take pride in this! It is the first of its kind in this world.

That doesn't happen. Ozymandias places his hand on the sphinx's shoulder and it settles down again, wings folding behind its muscled back. Fugo's posture doesn't immediately lose its tension, even when he turns his attention towards Ozymandias again. He blinks a few times, mentally catching up on the moment and what's been said. It's-- the usual grandstanding and posturing.]
... well, congratulations. [Much slower than the sphinx, Fugo's own hackles begin to settle.] From the way you're talking, I take it you're used to having more of them at your beck and call.

[But Ozymandias opts to say nothing of it. As guarded as Fugo is towards him, it would likely be a tiring exercise to attempt convincing him that he is in no such danger around any sphinx that he might summon.]
I am in the command of an entire army, Fugo. I possess sphinxes of even greater size than this. [Although still said with intonations of pride as always, this is not so much an intentional boast as a statement of fact.] The king of these creatures, the template of the Awlad I summon, is my Noble Phantasm. It is why I possess authority over them and they seek to protect my temple.
[Or in this case, his mansion.]
