[Sora seems to perk up at the note of amusement too and Sora can't help but reach up to tug at one of his own ears. His are long and stick straight up much as his hair does. It kind of suits him in a way. Even if he's still unsure about being a rabbit in general.]

Looks like you're a lop bunny of some sort, Ienzo.

[He lets out a puff of laughter.]

It certainly seems that way. [ He smiles, watching how Sora's ears spring back into place. ] I half wish I had yours, though. They don't seem like they'd get in the way of anything.

[ Ienzo's pushes one of his ears back over his shoulder as he says that. He's really not enjoying the potential that they'll be caught in something he's doing... ]

[oathkeeper]

Well, you should be used to that with that hair of yours always in your face.

[Sora jokes gently with a playful smile. But really, Ienzo?? Your hair is just as bad??]

Do you know a lot about puca? I guess we should team up about what we know, right?

[truescholar]

[ Ienzo looks startled at that. ]

My hair isn't in the way of anything, I assure you!

[ He's trying to sound convincing in a light-hearted sort of way. Though there's a hint to his tone that indicates he might be trying to apply a little conviction to himself as well as Sora. ]

As for the subject of Puca, I'm unfortunately limited to what I've been told. [ Ienzo pauses, then a sort of hopeful look enters his expression. ] Though, I've heard of a small library in the Coven. I was actually planning to visit it-perhaps we could do that together at some point?

[oathkeeper]

[Look, Sora knows he's right. Sora has no idea how Ienzo sees anything and now he has floppy ears to deal with too.]

I dunno, Ienzo. You're worse than Riku when he was going through a phase.

[Riku's sheepdog emo days. Ienzo's hair is worse than that. Sora's going to keep throwing that shade--

But anyway! Puca things!]

I guess we could go together, yeah! I can't remember the last time I've been to a real library.

[Or ...read a book.]

[ -Phase?

He's a little worried at that. What kinda of phase... Ienzo's hair has always been this way. Even as a child. Was Sora aware of some detail he wasn't? Ienzo wasn't sure why that idea felt a little disconcerting... Ienzo decides to swallow the feeling and focus on the subject of Puca, for the time being anyway.]

This feels like a good opportunity then!

[ Ienzo appears just a little excited that he has someone to accompany him on a research trip of sorts.]

I found a library recently, in fact. It's called A. Z. Fell and Co. It even has a tea shop connected to it.

[Sora snorts with laughter at the hint of Ienzo's inner conflict on his face but he lets it go quickly. He might be sassy sometimes but he doesn't intend to tease.]

Really? Great, that sounds like an awesome place to start!

Wonderful! [ Ienzo's looking pretty excited about all this actually. In a 'he's not had a study buddy ever' sort of way.] Shall we head there now?

[ An undisclosed amount of time later eventually finds the duo outside A. Z. Fell and Co. ]

Unusual books... [ Ienzo sounds thoughtful at that. ] As unusual as this world I hope.

[Let Ienzo be excited until he learns that Sora isn't the greatest choice in study buddy. Sora's ears twitch and he's as eager as ever to try and help and learn, though! When they get there Sora's amazed at the atmosphere.]

Wow, it's a lot busier here than I thought it'd be.

[Sora starts to wander like the curious rabbit he is.]

It certainly is!

[ Ienzo's distracted enough by both the crowd and lines of bookshelves that he doesn't notice that Sora has wandered away. ]

Well, perhaps we can start in the-

[ He turns, and pauses. ]

-Sora?

[oathkeeper]

[He's already wandered off to one of the shelves selling books on charms and tricks and other sorts of magic related to those things. He's not a witch but as someone who's liked and used magic in the past he can't help but be curious about charm magic.]

Whoa... This place has a lot of cool books!

[truescholar]

[ It takes a few minutes for Ienzo to relocate Sora amidst the shelves. When he does he has a couple books tucked under his arm. And they look reasonably thick. ]

There you are. [ He sounds relieved. ] Did you find something interesting?

[oathkeeper]

[Sora pulls the charms book off the shelf and holds it up like a prize.]

Look, a book on charms. Probably pretty good for pranks.

[He grins. But he doesn't really realize he's already off-topic. They're supposed to be looking for books on Puca things?]

[truescholar]

[ Ienzo tilts his head at that. ]

Pranks... [ He repeats the word slowly, like its the first time he's heard it. He then looks at the book Sora's holding curiously. ] Did you have anything in particular in mind?

[ Ienzo's not sure why he feels the need to inquire but. They're not exactly in a hurry regarding the puca study so. Why not!]

[oathkeeper]

We're not witches but I hear there's trinkets and stuff we can get that cast spells for us, you know?

[He grins.]

Isn't there someone you wanna turn green or make float? Maybe we can find out what we need with these books.

[truescholar]

That sounds quite useful-and similar to what they were using at Inkchanted.

[ Ienzo quietly hopes trinkets won't make his hair puff out. It'd probably make his ears do the same now, which would look even sillier...

He then has to stop at Sora suggesting they turn someone green.]

I...can't say I've ever wanted to turn someone a different colour.

[ He doesn't add he's Just A little Bit interested to know how the magic behind that would work. Though perhaps the way he's looking at the book Sora's holding is enough of a hint.]

[oathkeeper]

[Sora grins playfully.]

What, you've never even wanted to make anyone blush pink or red before?

[Now he's just teasing.]

[truescholar]

[ Ienzo's caught off guard, eyes going wide. He sputters for a second. ]

I-me? No...no, no-

[oathkeeper]

Pftt-!

[Sorry, Ienzo. He's being a little pest. Sora snickers playfully under his breath before he shoves the book into Ienzo's arms. He can keep this one.]

I'm just kidding!

[truescholar]

[ He blinks helplessly, trying to regain his balance. ]

R-Right, of course.

[ And yet, the suggestion doesn't quite leave him. Ienzo realizes he's not exactly opposed to the idea. More that the thought he could possibly elicit such a response from someone. It's a little bit intimidating! Uncharted territory if you will. And it's highly unlikely he could manage it, in his professional opinion. ]

Ahem. Shall we move to the cafe? We can look at your charm book, and this tome on fae lore.

[ The book in question is the thickest book Ienzo has. ]

[There might just be a romantic charm or two in that book if Ienzo is really curious. Mostly, Sora was just being a bit annoying playful.

He does nod at the idea.]

Sure, let's do that.

[It might be kind of nice to get a chance to chat with Ienzo more, too. Without a war in between them anymore.]

[truescholar]

[ ... Ienzo may be curious. Later. Much later when he's fairly sure nobody is around to look over his shoulder. Ahem.

At Sora's acceptance of his offer he smiles. And soon they're seated at a cafe table. Ienzo's having to rest his elbows on his chosen reading material but, hey. He can still see Sora across the table at least. ]

Before we proceed, do you like tea? I find it helps when studying.

[oathkeeper]

[Sora can't help but smile. It's already nice to see Ienzo asking such ordinary things.]

I could drink some tea. Maybe some flower tea?

[He tilts his head.]

[truescholar]

[ He smiles at that. ]

Shall we try a pot of rosehip then? [ He pauses ] And perhaps we can ask about the cakes on offer...

[oathkeeper]

Sure! You seem pretty in your element like this, Ienzo. [Sora smiles.] Do you really like this kind of stuff?

[Books is one thing but teatime is another!]
