I. Small Girl, Big Responsibilities

[With new arrivals comes new responsibilities-- especially considering one of those arrivals just so happens to be one of the students of the branch campus. While he may not be a member of Class IX, she is currently the only instructor present that knows him. Ash being... well, Ash... she knows it isn't going to be easy. He's going to want to go off on his own and here, there's not much she can do to stop him.

So right now, she just wants to focus on giving him the best welcome dinner that she can. Maybe if they really made him feel welcome and he enjoyed himself, there wouldn't be any need to worry about him going off on his own.

I don't normally cook with alcohol however... I think he might like it...

[Ash Carbide liked what Ash Carbide shouldn't have. It might be worth indulging him a little though.]

II. Would You Light My Candle?

How pretty!

[This festival has a soft and enchanting glow to it, as residents and mirrorbound alike are encouraged to light candles with bonds and loved ones. Just seeing the flickering glow was putting her in a good mood.]

They say that if you light it with someone you care about, it will bring good luck to your relationship.

[Perhaps it is a bit sappy, but she does have to admit that she has a bit of a soft spot for things like this. But it also makes her think of people that she misses; people that had come and gone and those that were simply gone. It's a bittersweet feeling.]

III. Sweetest Treats

[One other interesting thing about this festival was that it had a pretty simple dish going around. It was a thin pancake topped with fruits, nuts and cream that looked absolutely delicious. The thing was-- it was meant to be shared. Much as she'd like to eat it--]

...it would look pretty sad if I ate it by myself, huh...?

[She laughed awkwardly, but-- it's not like she doesn't feel anything looking at other couples doing it. Quite the opposite. But those were the kinds of feelings that she didn't like having, and pushed down. It wasn't like there weren't people she could ask. But it would feel weird with the connotation. Although she was quite happy overall, it was pretty complicated.]

All this over a silly dessert...

[Time to slap her face and pull it together. Maybe-- maybe she'd just ask the person she wanted to and be done with it. Or maybe you'd also like a bite and want someone to help you get it.]

[Okay, but that noise was really cute so. She'll relent with a giggle. Instead, she'll just lean against his back a little, hugging him.]

Well, it's only fair to say I'm pretty lucky too.

[And she's really cute right back. He will lower his hands to cover her own affectionately, leaning back against her]

Then we're both lucky.

Having a chance to get to know you better has been one of the best parts of being here.

[Back home, they never quite had chances like that. They had their own lives, and things were always coming up. ]

[Lately there have been a lot of things that have been more painful than not. However--]

It's one of the things I'm most grateful for. I wouldn't change any of it.

[She leans up and kisses him on the cheek.]

[The kiss on his cheek gets a smile. He turns his head to he can kiss her forehead]

[She smiles and lets herself rest there for a few moments. It was really nice getting to have this time with him. She'd missed it, the last few weeks.]

Buuut I should probably let you get some rest.

[Yes. This hypocrite is lovingly going to try and put you to bed.]

[It was a nice peaceful few moments, sitting in comfortable silence with someone he loved so. But eventually, the hypocrite comes forth]

Ahah...I guess it's getting pretty late.

[Well, at least he's learned a fine trick to win her over.]

[There's no way she can turn down a night of softly cuddling with Elliot.]

[Aw yes. He smiles, he was hoping she'd be open to that idea. Softly cuddling with Towa seems like a perfect remedy]

[He reaches his hand up to cup her cheek]

How about you go get your stuff while I change? Er...into pajamas.

[Elliot, you could wear a unicorn onesie and she'd still be attracted to you.

But it's fine, she knows! She's behaving. Only soft cuddles here. She puts her hand over his on her face for a moment before she pulls herself up off the bed to get moving.]

Okay, I'll be back in a few minutes

[A unicorn onesie? Towa who do you think he is.

He lets her pull away, moving to get up himself]

[....It'll be music pajamas with a music pun shirt. That's who he is]

[Someone who would look attractive in anything!!!

A few minutes later she comes back in a frilly light blue nightgown with tiny stars all over it. Because this is who she is. She took her hair down while she was at it.]

Miss me?

[She leans up and gives him a quick kiss.]

[Her outfit like all her other ones, is cute as ever. His mostly looks comfortable, and music nerdy. His his hair is down as well, reaching down just past his shoulders now.

The bed has also been prepped to have to pillows and plenty of blankets for both of them.

He returns the kiss, smiling down at her]

Sure did. Ready for bed?

[This is pretty early for bed for her but-- well. Once in a while that's nice too.]

Mm-hmm!

[She'll pull back the covers for them and slide in first, patting the spot next to her.]

[Sorry he won't wait until the next blue moon to sleep Towa. He is only human after all.

He watches, before sliding in after her. Luckily, it's the side of the bed he usually sleeps on, so it's not too hard to adjust. Once they're both under covers, he'll reach over to wrap his arms around her and tug her close]

Comfy?

[Fair, fair. It's worth it to get to sleep next to Elliot anyway.]

Very.

[She snuggles up against him, laying her head on his chest. Getting to sleep at Elliot's side is one of the most relaxing things in her world.]

I missed this.

Me too...

[As she snuggles, he'll finish making himself comfortable. Thankfully they're both small. so it's pretty easy for them both to find a position that comfortable as they relax against each other]

If you wanted...we could do this more often. Like...maybe biweekly, or weekly...

[Not nightly, both of them lived too different of schedules to make that work out. Not to mention other important people in their lives. But maybe once and awhile, they could make time for this.]

[The suggestion makes her smile and she hums happily.]
