[Prompto didn't even have to go apply for this job; the person in charge of the delivery service took one look at Prompto taking Primula for a job and practically begged them to play delivery boy. Apparently a giant bird was perfect for carrying packages. Who knew?

They were given directions to the place and they're on their way there now after a stop off at the house to get Prim's saddle and bridle. Of course, Prompto didn't think to kit her up before leaving the house so she is now running off down a side street with her rider chasing after her.]

Get back here! Why does this always happen to me...

[And after that emotional mess of a reunion, Prompto can be found dashing about on chocobo-back as he delivers letters and small packages. Are you a recipient? Are you just walking by as a yellow birdy blur zips past you and maybe knocks you down? Either way you won't catch him until he stops in front of his destination.]

[He's a busy bee this month, apparently, as he has picked up a second part-time job! Or possibly more, as Prompto seems to be helping out whatever shop will take him that day and that leaves him doing a lot of things.

For some reason, he gets asked to carry things from one place to another a lot and he's not sure why. He's not strong or anything, so he spends a lot of time struggling down the street with the boxes of decorations or whatever it is he's carrying.

This means he can't see or stop very well.

Which means it's only a matter of time before he runs into something and trips. That "something" could be a wall or a tree root or even you.

Either way, Prompto lands face first on the ground with a yelp and a swear. Help?]

Open: Why is This His Life? (Or: Flirting Classes)

[He's not even sure he knows how he got enrolled in this class but HERE HE IS.

[Ember smiles.] It's a pleasure to meet you Prompto. [She purses her lips thoughtfully before gently taking his hand with hers to re-do their greeting.]

Try a lighter touch, just holding the tips of the fingers and if you're very comfortable with this woman you can brush your lips against their knuckles.

Now Prompto, are you interested in women, men or both?

[Justine is standing nearby and very much enjoying this.]

If you're going to flirt with a woman then hold her fingers delicately like this. Anything to extend the length of contact a few seconds beyond convention but not too long. [There is a fine line between creepy and flirting.] With men it's similar bit you linger, a light touch of hello.

It's an instant and silent way to show interest in someone and might help if you're not sure what to say.

[Justine lightly taps Prompto on the forehead, a light smile touching her lips.] Calm down. [At least he hasn't run for the door yet.] You're doing very good.

[Ember turns towards Prompto with a smile.]

[Prompto smiles and does as she instructed. His hands are a little clammy but hey, he's trying.]

Prompto. Nice to meet you, too.

[Ember took a small step towards him while a subtle smile touched the edges of her lips. Her eyes were dark but glittering in the dim lighting of the brothel as she met Prompto's gaze.]

Prompto? I like that name. It suits you.

[Justine watches with interest as Ember takes a small step back.]

She complimented you. [Justine supplies.] While also taking a small step forward. It was small but it's a good informal way to show that you're interested in someone.

[Ember nods with a smile.]

[Justine steps forward, trailing her fingers up Prompto's arm before Ember could speak.]

Are collars something that you're interested in? [Her voice lowers, taking on a sultry edge as she lightly brushes the pad of her fingers against the side of his neck. It's a brief touch, trailing down towards his clavicle before she's pulling away again.]

[Prompto jumps, red as anything at that because Justine!]

[Her lips form into a soft pout.]

Is getting personal such a bad thing? [Justine doesn't make an attempt to close the distance between them but she looks like she wants too.]

This is literally the closest I've ever been to a woman who wasn't smacking me around for being an idiot.

[Which...wow that's embarrassing to admit but hey. Some perspective on how far he's gotten?]

Most teasing is a bit of both. It's a way for someone to protect themselves from rejection. Because sometimes being shy can also hurt someone else's feelings when they're putting themselves out there.

[Her voice is gentle and while she isn't actually talking about herself, she does want him to know that people who flirt with him do so because they at least think he's cute.

[Ember steps forward again, knowing that she's needed to help field Prompto's question.]

...I think you ladies are over-estimating some people because trust me, some folks just don't get it even when they flirt back. Been there, done that, had the crush to prove it.

[Ember's expression softens.] That depends on the person. Sometimes it's easier to just ask someone on a date. It's a more serious and official statement of affection that's hard to misinterpret. Other times you can be more direct about it.

[Ember steps forward and pulls Justine into her arms, pressing their lips together in a heated kiss. Justine's shoulders tense and then relax as her fingers slide through the other woman's hair.

Justine is breathless when Ember pulls away, her cheeks flushed from the kiss and for once she's at a loss for words.]
