June Catch-all [OTA + One Closed Prompt]

[Prompto didn't even have to go apply for this job; the person in charge of the delivery service took one look at Prompto taking Primula for a job and practically begged them to play delivery boy. Apparently a giant bird was perfect for carrying packages. Who knew?

They were given directions to the place and they're on their way there now after a stop off at the house to get Prim's saddle and bridle. Of course, Prompto didn't think to kit her up before leaving the house so she is now running off down a side street with her rider chasing after her.]

Get back here! Why does this always happen to me...

Open: Delivery!

[And after that emotional mess of a reunion, Prompto can be found dashing about on chocobo-back as he delivers letters and small packages. Are you a recipient? Are you just walking by as a yellow birdy blur zips past you and maybe knocks you down? Either way you won't catch him until he stops in front of his destination.]

Open: Festival Prep

[He's a busy bee this month, apparently, as he has picked up a second part-time job! Or possibly more, as Prompto seems to be helping out whatever shop will take him that day and that leaves him doing a lot of things.

For some reason, he gets asked to carry things from one place to another a lot and he's not sure why. He's not strong or anything, so he spends a lot of time struggling down the street with the boxes of decorations or whatever it is he's carrying.

This means he can't see or stop very well.

Which means it's only a matter of time before he runs into something and trips. That "something" could be a wall or a tree root or even you.

Either way, Prompto lands face first on the ground with a yelp and a swear. Help?]

Open: Why is This His Life? (Or: Flirting Classes)

[He's not even sure he knows how he got enrolled in this class but HERE HE IS.

[Oh hey, a familiar voice. Prompto glances over, laughing at the guy trying to keep up with Primula.]

But I bet mine eats less! [It's probably fine... At least for now while they're going straight. Thinking ahead? Illegal.]

Hey, Prim runs on all natural fuel! Just point her in the direction of a salad and she's good!

Is that where you're going? [America's front wheel is wobbling kind of dangerously...]

Nope! Work.

[Yeah, Prompto's just gonna. Calmly move Prim to the side so they don't get hit when that bike goes kaput.]

[America would say something about how he should probably be doing that when, unsurprisingly to everyone except America, the front wheel gives out. He goes sailing over the handlebars with a startled yelp, his wings spreading out and flapping like crazy.

As a result, he ends up in a tree instead of on the ground. It's questionable if this is an improvement.]

[Prompto slows Prim was soon as America goes flying, just sitting there and watching him faceplant into the tree.]

You okay?

Yeah! [America sounds a little dizzy, but otherwise energetic. It's fine. The poor tree shakes around, smaller branches snapping and dropping, as America tries to extract himself.] I guess they didn't give me a mountain bike or anything...

[And here he is! He's got some minor scrapes, but he's fine. He's got a hard head.]

I don't think they know what mountain bikes are here...

[Yeah, Prompto just watches. Sorry man.]

D'you need a ride to the Coven for a check up? Concussions are nasty.

It's okay, I didn't hit my head. [His poor arms took most of the impact, but he's sure they're not broken or anything.] Man, good thing I know how to fix a bike...

[He looks at the chocobo.] Guess you win, birdy. This time!

The only thing that can beat a chocobo is a car, dude. They always win.

Once I figure out how to fly, I'm definitely trying again. [As if it wasn't already obvious America hadn't figured that out yet.]

Oh, nah. [They shift a little as America fidgets.] They just sort of grew all at once one night a couple weeks ago. ...Actually, I think it was only a few days after I talked to you on those watches, haha!

[The whole thing is really alarming more than it is funny, but America would rather not think of it like that.]

America! [He smiles as he brushes some leaves off his shirt.] Don't worry about it, usually I have great luck, so it'll turn around in no time! Does your bird have a name?

[She kwehs at her name.]

Or Prim, either one works.

Hey, Prim! [Who's a good birdie? She is!] Gotta say, I'm more of a horse guy, but if we had chocobos where I'm from, I'd totally ride 'em.

Yeah, I'm learning that most places don't have chocobos. But we don't have horses, so fair trade? I guess?

Really? Horses are great! [A world without horses seems sad... On the other hand, chocobos seem cool.] Well, you guys still have cool animals to ride, so I guess it's not bad. Are they hard to learn to ride?

I don't think so, but then again I dunno how hard horses are to ride.

[fifty]

Not bad as long as the horse cooperates! [America reaches out to Prim, but then hesitates.] Is it okay to pet her?

[America is more polite with animals than people.]

Yeah! She loves it, there's a spot near her neck that makes her go nuts.

[Prompto points out said spot as he hops down.]

[America goes for that spot immediately, of course.] Hey, pretty birdie. How are you doing?

[Primula kwehs in delight and fluffs up a bit as she gets pets!!]

I think she's happy I got a job that gets her out of her stable. It's no Duscaen countryside, but it's something.
