[ He can't help but smirk. Maybe Aqua will think that this means he will go after Ventus. Vanitas won't, for he has something of an answer from the Coven on the matter. Vanitas merely has to find the right person to fill that void. ]

That does not mean I can entirely stop myself from aggravating situations that are already present, of course. So technically, you are correct. I don't intend to start anything.

... It was both Terra and my own experience had taught me that there was more to Darkness than just-- something that's evil-- something to eradicate, but... you've only confirmed that.

And-- sometimes, there's more to someone than you could ever really know.

[ Honestly Vanitas is a little skeptical here. In her dragon form she practically hones in on him. Not really convincing Vanitas here that she doesn't, somewhere in her heart, still believe Darkness is a thing that must be purged from people. ]

I guess older dogs can still learn some new tricks. Or maybe I should say older dragons.
