Warnings: Probably gonna be some talk about death/end-of-life in places but it's not the point

It's party time! Crow has, for reasons that will baffle anyone who doesn't know him, decided that the Thing To Do is throw a swimsuit party in the middle of winter. And unless you're Elliot, who has an excellent excuse for it, the dress code is required and you will be denied entrance otherwise. Yes, Crow is absolutely serious about this. He is not sorry. His friends might be, though.

Crow let Fie go wild on the decorations, so the party's style is.... well, imagine something like this and you won't be very far off at all. There are a couple of features of note, though! The first is that he's set up some kind of... well, it's a slip'n'slide going down the hall of the first floor. He sure did do that. The second feature is a small hot tub that he has somehow managed to set up in the living room.

And yes, Crow is aware he's going to be the one who has to clean all of this up later. Worth it.

Food has been mostly provided by the lovely Miss Towa Herschel and enchanted to keep you warm despite the ridiculous mandatory wardrobe. You'll find a wide variety of seafood dishes, some fancier than others. The less fancy end of things, like the fish burgers, were provided by Crow who ended up pitching in after all instead of making poor Towa do all the hard work.

Crow and Elliot have worked together to enchant music to play for this party-- rock music of course, playing at a comfortable volume throughout the living room and down the hallway. It's enough to dance to, if you're inclined to! Or you can just chat with friends and enjoy it in the background.

As for the host of the party, you can find him relaxing in that hot tub or by the buffet.

[Elliot will just be sipping that drink, wondering how long it takes for alcohol to kick in. He doesn't drink a lot ok]

Hm? What is it?

Well... Crow said something to me the other night and it made me think...

[Deep breath... She needs to just say it.]

What would you think about inviting Crow to join us for a night?

[Towa's requests were usually pretty tame, so he was drinking like a fool when Towa talks. Thus when he hears her ask that, he immediately chokes on his drink and starts coughing. It takes a few coughs to even gets words out-

Hacking-] W-What?!

[She had a feeling that was a bad idea. Towa’s face turns bright pink and she waves her hands dismissively.]

S-Sorry!! It’s nothing— Y-you can forget I said anything.

[Oh she's backtracking. He has to cough a few times and clear his throat]

H-Hold on, you just caught me by surprise! [IT HAPPENS OK. He clears his throat. Okay, he's out of the danger.]

Okay so...what do you want with Crow?

[Towa bites her lip hard. It would be easier to just drop it. But she’s the one who brought this up in the first place.

...]

I just thought... maybe... it would be nice... the three of us... together.

[Maybe she’ll feel better if she explains where the thought came from. Probably not, but—]

I told him the other night when I stayed with you that he was welcome to join us if he wanted the company and— well of course he had to make it seem like he would be intruding on something and... well... I guess part of me thought maybe... it wasn’t such a bad idea...

[Deep exhale...]

B-but you don’t have to take it too seriously, it... was just a thought...

Ah...

[Oh. So he did hear that right the first time. She was asking for a...wow. He was already a little pink from being in such a revealing croptop, but this deepens the blush.

It's not that he hasn't thought of Crow that way, quite the opposite. But, boy...

He swallows a little, trying to think of how to form words.]

Well, um.... [WORDS ARE HARD] I-If you two actually wanted...that, I....I wouldn't say...no....

[Oh my goddess]

[Now you see how she felt. It's one thing to want it, but to be able to say it is a whole different thing. But she somehow managed to push through it and--

It. Worked?!]

R-really?!

[She can't deny the spark of excitement.]

Really really? You're not just saying that because I asked you?

[It's come to her attention that some people have a hard time saying no to her.]

N-No, I'm not just saying that.

[He is one of those people, but he's not outright against this idea. That said...]

Though, you might be overestimating his interest in me. I can't say I've had much luck with him.

[As long as that's not the reason he's saying yes, then it's okay. She just wanted to be sure. She knows she's asking for quite a bit.]

Trust me, I felt the same way. Crow is... difficult. He's always joking around, so it's hard to know when you should take him seriously. It's easier to think you shouldn't take those things seriously.

[It would be nice to have a partner like Crow to help Elliot see just how attractive he was to both of them.]

That said. I'm look forward to proving you wrong. You do realize he practically cried over you wearing a shirt to this party, right? Crow is allergic to feelings, you can't exactly woo him the traditional way.

[Elliot's eyebrows go way up, because boy she sure suddenly sounds very confident on their enigma bird]

Whoa, you sound like an expert on him all of a sudden--

[Wait a sec, brain is catching up]

Wait, have you two been...?

[Wow, hey!!!]

Sh-shouldn't your first thought be the fact that we've been friends for a long time? It's not just about that. Although...

[Flustered as she is that he saw through her so quickly, she never intended to hide that fact.]

[He offers a sympathetic laugh]

Sorry Towa, it was kinda obvious with how you said it... [He's been friends a long time with several people and he couldn't tell you how you'd woo them]

But...wow. [Color him surprised and a little impressed] How did it...? [Happen? Go? Give him what deets you want Towa he's curious ok]

It... all started because the bench I was sitting under had some mistletoe decorating the lamp above it. And... me... short as I am... I didn't notice it. Until Crow joined me. Of course, he didn't tell me until a few minutes later. I accused him of trying to pick up girls using it and-- he didn't deny it. So I just got embarrassed but kind of happy--

[She clearly didn't mind being honest. At least about the "how" part.]

Aaaaaand it just kind of sort of. Happened, after that. Honestly, I was pretty sure he'd say no when he found out-- well. Because I was still a virgin at the time... in that sense...

[She's still not great talking about that even now that she isn't anymore. Go figure. At least, she will be, until she has the guts to go through the conversation about the fact that she wanted to be able to be with Elliot like that too someday.]

[So it was from the mistletoe. That made sense, it was easy to see how things could lead from a simple kiss like that, especially with a duo like Towa and Crow. Elliot was about to comment in support when Towa drops that....V word.

That makes him stop, because wait what?]

...Y-You told him you were a virgin?

[Was he hearing that right??]

W-well yes... I... didn't want to surprise him. Because you know... it's... kind of painful, the first time. For girls. It only felt fair to be honest that I haven't ever had sex that way before.

[Because she didn't want to break his trust, and it felt like that would have been.]

I mean... he knew I had experience just-- not with... that.

[Boy, did the temperature just rise thirty degrees or what?]

[Painful huh? That...was something Elliot didn't know. But it's a reasonable enough explanation that it stops Elliot from getting worked up. ]

...O-Oh, I didn't know it was.. [Embarrassing to admit, but on the other hand, he feels like he dodged a bullet in a sense because he sure would've screwed that up]

Thaaat makes sense then, w-why you'd warn him.

[It's definitely weird, having a talk about this with Elliot now. Giving different firsts to different people wasn't something she'd considered much before. But if they're going to have this conversation then-- she might as well come clean.]

Honestly... there were a lot of times I wanted to bring it up with you. But back then, I always felt so nervous that maybe you'd... never really be interested in being together with me that way. Especially considering you'd have to deal with all that. It didn't change how I felt about you, so I thought it was okay.

[But not being honest with Elliot before was what almost tore them apart, and hurt them both. So--]

But it never changed the fact that I wanted that with you. And still do hope that maybe someday...

[Wow, it sounds like Towa's given a lot more thought to this than he thought she did. Was it really that important to her? It sure sounded that way, and at this point in time, Elliot wasn't sure how to respond to it. ]

Towa...

[He tries to think of a response, especially when they are still in the middle of a party]

It's not....completely off the table, I just... it hasn't felt right timing yet, you know? [He didn't exactly go in planning out positions, it just...sorta happen] I don't exactly plan that much, as I'm sure you've noticed...

[So in other words, no. He can't give a definitive answer right now. He will though reach over to squeeze her hand. ] Let's just...take it as it comes? S-Sounds like you already got something exciting planned for next time as it is...

[You know, with inviting Crow]

[She can't say that it's not something that she really wants. But she'd accepted way back that it might not be possible-- and she never questioned that she wanted to be with him anyway.

But saying that, she can tell she got him really thinking. Before he stresses over it too much--]

I already have the the thing that's most important to me. I have you. So please don't worry about it. It just... felt right to be honest about it. Even if it never happens, as long as we're together, I'll be happy.

[He's endured and accepted so many of her wild ideas already. Honestly, she knows that she's already incredibly blessed.]

You're already the most incredible person I could have asked for.

[He breathes out a little, feeling some relief as she clears the air. Right. There was no pressure. plus, that was honestly really sweet coming from her.]

Haha, Towa...that's so sweet.

[He moves to kiss her on top of her head, affectionately]

I really appreciate the honesty. And I'm happy with you too.

Well it's the truth.

[But she's glad to see that he seems to be relaxing some. The last thing she wanted to do was put more pressure on him. In fact, she'd like to do the opposite, with him feeling a bit self-conscious right now.

Towa lowers her voice just a bit-- enough for the following bit to stay safely between the two of them.]

Besides. Planned or not, you've never left me wanting for anything.

[T O W A. He coughs up his drink again, his cheeks blushing. Maybe he shouldn't drink around Towa. it's clearly dangerous]

That's-

[Swallowing and clearing his throat]

I-I'm glad to hear that. Think that' swimsuit's making you bolder.

[She promises she's not trying to kill him.]

S-sorry, sorry. It's just... sometimes I think you could stand to hear those things as much as I could.

[Towa's just going to finish her own drink and keep quiet for a bit.]

Haha...

[It's sweet, really. Just you know, they were among other people right now. But, to make things not completely awkward, he'll lean down a little and whisper in her ear]

How about later tonight then? Once we're done here?
