[Closed] Trails of Snowed In

Who: Trails House Residents + Visitors
When: Deceuer 6th - 10th, during the snowstorm
Where: Trails House
What: Snowed in!

It was safe to say that the Zemurian house was always lively, but the heaviest day of snowfall was particularly so. Everyone was home, and some had invited some friends over for dinner or socializing. It was too late before they realized just how heavily they were snowed in, and that they'd be stuck together for awhile. Best to make the most of it!

With all these people, at least it was a roomy house. There was:

The Main Floor which has a living room with a functional fireplace, kitchen (half stocked with useful cooking ingredients and half with "random things the other roommates thought would be cool"), a dining room, and the music room that's been transformed into Elliot's bedroom - because of course it has.

The Second floor which houses Towa, Crow, Machias, and Fie's bedrooms. Some of these rooms have a worrying amount of weapons, try to guess which. There is also a spare bedroom with a full sized bed, for any guests. Too bad you'll probably need to share.

The Attic, which was Rean's room and made up to be comfortable for a harpy. Shiny things are all over the place, and the bed is more like a nest of blankets.

The Basement which contains Randy and Lloyd's rooms. Coincidentally, this is the easiest place to find dirty magazines in the house.

The Cellar, which houses any alcohol that hasn't been drunken already, as well as a 200lbs wild boar carcass. Lovely.

And lastly the Courtyard which is...covered in snow. What else did you expect.

Make yourself comfortable or try to make a break for it. It's gonna be a long storm.

[ She's so... nice. Is she always like this? Is this because he's a guest? He runs through a list of possibilities, and realizes he can't really determine from just these few seconds of interacting. ]

I'm certain. My fur gets a little thicker in winter.

[ He holds out his hand, moving two fingers on the other over it as if to prove a point. ]

I did. Thanks. I've been sticking to mostly the raw vegetables that you guys have. Fie's pretty good at gardening out there. [ She helped him and Shinjiro a lot when they first started to work on one. ] Do you help her with yours?

That sounds nice, actually.

[When you get used to magic protecting you, as a human, you become even more vulnerable. It's a funny feeling. She's glad to hear others have been faring better though.]

I'm glad to hear it. I was able to help her bring them in when the storm started, but usually I'm in charge of the cooking, not the growing. Usually I leave that stuff to her. I have been thinking about asking her if she'd put in some tea plants for me. But maybe I should have her teach me.

[ And it keeps people from trying to... share with him, usually. Which he also likes. He needs his bubble. ]

She taught Shinjiro and I a lot early on in our time here when we were fixing up Shinjiro's garden. It might be worth learning, after all. You can fully control your garden, then.

I was a little surprised back in school when I saw she chose the gardening club, honestly. But it turned out to be a really good fit for her. It's nice to see she's passing on what she learned to her new friends.

[Nothing beats Millium and the cooking club.]

Its a really nice way to cut costs too. With so many of us, it's nice to be able to save money where I can.

[ Louis has a hard time imagining Fie in anything else, given that's how he really got to know her at first. She rolled in when he and Shinjiro were trying. But...neither of them knew much of anything despite that Louis should have known better. ]

She kept us from poisoning ourselves. It seems to suit her. [ He could sing a lot of praises about Fie, though. She's one of the few people he really likes and trusts. ]

Oh, yeah, you guys do have a lot of people here. How many actually live here, though?
