When: All of Deceuer
Where: All around
What: General every day stuff like around the house and shopping + Wilde quest #1
Warnings: None that I know of
a. at the house (pre and post-event)
[Aymeric can be found at the cat house, which is open to all to visit. Sometimes he’s cooking, sometimes he’s out in the garden trying to winterize the roses (with help), sometimes he’s just on the porch being the neighborhood watch. He’s become more accustomed to everyday life and the life of not having to do stuff everyday and working to the bone.
So whether it’s finding him cooking, cleaning, probably keeping busy doing chores, bringing in groceries…
…yeah who are we kidding, he’s still keeping every moment of every day occupied doing something. He’s just become more of a house husband…]
b. in the wilde
[Though undertaking quests are more of his forte. Having amassed a party, he goes out and fights with allies by his side. People will note he’s an adept fighter, and is quick to be in the vanguard and be an effective leader. He seems more in his element here and almost seems more content now that he feels like he’s doing something useful, not just every day stuff.
The quest itself is tough, enemies he really hasn’t analyzed yet, thus taking a few hits before he’s able to quell some of those infected. At the very least, he’s taken proper precautions.]
Are you quite alright? [Asking those who fought alongside him, ensuring their safety. He’s probably got a few nicks, but he’s good at hiding any injuries he could have sustained. Then again, he’s fought more powerful enemies being far more injured than he is now…]
(ooc: This is for any part of the quest you want! Just please note I suck at fight logs and would rather just glean over that.)]
c. shopping
[When it’s not a snowstorm outside, Aymeric will be found around town shopping. Getting staple foods, likes meats, veggies, and eggs. Also tea. And naturally wines. Red wines and white wines, things that seem to go with different foods he’s picked out.
Though some things he’s not quite used to, as he has no qualms approaching anyone nearby showing them what he has in hand.]
Pardon me, but perchance you could tell me what this is used for…
[It could be a sauce of some kind he’s not accustomed to equivalent to tabasco or tapatio, tea bags, or even kitchen tools he’s never seen before.
Like a hand mixer. What in halone’s name is a hand mixer. Please help the elf that’s trying to learn.]
d. bonding – closed to Rose
[A bit ago, they had discussed bonding, and given the time that passed they finally set up the time to be bonded by the Coven. He has to admit, there’s nervousness involved in this as such a ceremony seems close to others he’s seen. Like weddings.
Granted, he admits this is a far less romantic affair and more done out of necessity for someone he cares for. Though he shows no such nervousness as his bonding partner arrives.]
Are you ready for the ceremony, Rose?
[His lips curl up in a slight smile, actually holding back elated emotions for once.]
no subject
[It’s not a wedding, and as far as she can tell, there’s no explicitly romantic connotations. Still, there’s part of this that feels intimate, and she can’t say she minds. Rose has never been as good at hiding emotions as Aymeric, so instead she masks them with indifference.]
As ready as I’ll ever be, I suppose.
[She shrugs, but she’s also smiling.]
You know, I’m happy that if we’re forced to do this, I’m able to do it with you.
no subject
Likewise. Praise Halone that you arrived with me, even if I do wish you did not have to suffer this.
['This' being this world and becoming a fae, not... the ceremony.]
no subject
Yes. As awful as it is here, it’s much better suffered with good company.
[She looks at the door. As nervous as she feels, they need to get this over with eventually.]
Shall we?
A
Greetings, Ser Aymeric.
[Still so painfully formal at times... but he's on the stoop now, and with two mugs of warm black tea. He holds one out for his housemate, and then takes a seat in the chair beside him.]
Pray forgive me for imposing. While I doubt this place has anything on an Ishgardian winter, I hope warm tea and company would chase the chill regardless.
no subject
I thank you for this. Even if this does not compare to the winters I am used to, adapting to this place has made even a winter like this feel chillier than usual.
[A slight melancholic tone. Even if he's not been here long, he misses his home country and the things he could be doing to help it.]
What brings you out here, Exarch?
