What: Connor gets his Merrow tail... at the most inconvenient of times

[Connor is just walking back to his cottage when his legs stop working and he falls in the street. At first he's just confused- he doesn't just fall-, but then he realises he can't get back up. A little panicked, because this isn't normal, the LED on Connor's head flashes red as his legs begin to fuse together and form a bright orange and blue tail.

Why here? He isn't wet. He drags himself forward a few feet; he lives quite a bit further away, but what else can he do? Luckily someone seems to be coming his way. He sits up, hoping it's not someone who dislikes monsters.]

Can you help me?

[He gestures helplessly to his tail.]

[Said as an afterthought, his eyebrows slightly raised. He knows he's heavy like this.]

He nods and starts heading that way, making sure to take controlled breaths.]

I did, yes. I'm not sure why it happened, I'm not even wet.

[And in that dream, he only gained a tail while wet.]

I was just walking, and then... I wasn't.

Is it the full moon?

[It would make sense with what he's learned so far doing witchy things.]

So these changes may have been triggered by the full moon?

Back home some of the monsters were more active during the full moon. Don't see why it's different here with magic all around.

[Cloud's never looked into why the moon makes critters go crazy. Maybe they're confused, still thinking it's day with how bright the moon can be.]

It might affect those changing into monsters the same way.

I'm not used to magic, so I didn't know.

So I suppose I'll go back to normal once the moon goes down?

Cats act weird during the full moon. Never checked if it was because of magic or because cats are weird.

I've seen cats around. [Unless they're monsters or witches who turn into cats.]

They might like you a lot. Cats love fish.

I've seen them, but I haven't had the chance to interact with them yet.

She's doing fine. A friend and I found a place to stay where she has a nice area to get exercise in.
