[Normally Steven would have already balked at the destruction they are sewing, but something in his faerie DNA makes him go: hell yeah, this game is awesome. Eren's energy is hard to resist, and though he does try to avoid hitting anything important, the consequences of his actions are shoved out of mind.

Sometimes you just wanna throw paint around without worrying about it, y'know? It's art.

Then Eren comes sliding at him. Steven tries to fly upwards, but his wings are heavy with paint, and so he miscalculates his lift. So, instead, he basically just jumps on top of Eren while he skids by, legs swept out from beneath him by falling dragon.

And then they probably hit the wall and he can make a big wing-shaped paint angel.]>/small>

[ make it a double winged angel. even with his arms gripping around steven’s legs to steady him over his head, eren takes the bulk of the impact straight into the wall, making the wood crack with a thick thunk. not enough to render him useless, but he does, carefully, lower his back while the fae and making sure he gets to the floor safely. his face stings, and that’s. that’s one more wall!! ruined.

in fact, it’s enough of a second for them to finally get a better scope of all the damage, and. lmao. ]

[Steven slumps off of the wall and onto Eren, obviously pretty dazed. You can practically hear the stars spinning around his head when he speaks.]

Ow... I-I mean... I'm okay.

[His wings wiggle a bit, like he's trying to check to see if they are broken. This is a lot.]

Maybe we got carried away...

[ sitting up and making sure steven is well is a good chance to get a much better look at their masterpiece, and the rest of the house. oh, boy. eren almost wants to laugh, wow. ]

We need to clean up before Lex comes back.

[ wifey might never leave steven with him ever again and they can’t have that. ]

[Steven drops onto his butt, which turns out to be in a puddle of paint. That's sort of everywhere right now, though.]

Okay, but... umm...

How do we get the paint off of stuff? Doesn't paint... kind of stick to things?

[Ah, they have messed up good, haven't they.]

We’ll have to paint over it. [ with one . . . color. oh this is great. ]

I... I think we need help.

[he's getting really nervous now.]

We need to find a witch! A... A paint witch!

Steven, [ he sees him—! and it’s time, to step in as the older, responsible figure, and become the picture of resolve-! confidence personified! adapt! conquer! eren’s hand goes on the fae’s shoulder, claws only nicking at the fabric of whatever he wears. ] we don’t need magic for everything. All we need is focus, can you do that?

[Steven doesn't know about that, but he is also susceptible to authoritative confidence. His confusion and worry shifts into a somewhat forced smile.]
