[ The kiss catches him off-guard, far more intimate than he'd expected. He allows it, though, and lets Everett nuzzle him, even. Berserker doesn't quite understand the concept of aftercare, it seems. ]

[Well, it's about time he learned, then. Everett appreciates the kiss, but Berserker shouldn't be getting away with just that token gesture. He pulls the dragon with a teasing tone, calming down finally in his exhaustion, smiling gently]

That I did... a, and if you desire to enjoy such a challenge again, you best stay and clean this mess of ours. Tend to these sc, scratches upon my back, gently so... [he'll loosen his hold after that, allowing Berserker his free reign over the house]

There are clean towels and warm water in a kettle, both kept by the hearth. Be a darling and fetch them for me, please. [hopefully Berserker obliges, it would be good for the man to learn some good manners on how to follow up with a partner. If he wants to fuck Everett again, he'll not abandon him so abruptly.]

[ It would be so much easier just to leave, but Berserker is a mess, too. He also has a feeling if he just got dressed and left, he'd never hear the end of it from Everett. He gets up without a word to fetch the kettle and towels, returning a few moments later.

The dragon barely takes care of his own needs, taking care of someone else's is so alien to him. He stands next to the bed and holds out the items he retrieved. ]

[While Berserker does well in fetching, Everett takes the time to breath and relax himself. The messiest sheets get pulled up and pushed aside. He'll deal with cleaning those later. The faun rests himself down flat on his chest and smiles softly when his partner returns.]

Set the towels in the wash basin and pour the water over them. Give them a moment to cool so you don't scald me, but I need some heat to clean out what you dug into me. The second I'll need to clean myself elsewhere... and third cloth shall be yours.

Besides, best for Berserker to learn to care for his partners, not just for their sake, but for his own. If the dragon is starting to grow fond of people, it's important he indulge and act upon that fondness, so it's well nurtured.]

[ He doesn't really like being ordered around, though he accepts it regardless. The basin gets filled, the towels placed in it. His first instinct is to take care of himself -- old habits and all that. He wrings out one towel and goes over to Everett. It's cooled off enough to not burn but still warm enough to be pleasant against the raw skin. He's meticulous in the way he cleans up the scratches, using enough pressure to be thorough but not enough to be painful.

Just to be petty, he leaves the towel on the faun's shoulder. Berserker does fetch a second one for him and offers it to him. ]

[The prideful comment gets a little chuckle from Everett, who relaxes into the attention to his back. It stung, but in a good way, putting his mind at ease to have the scratches tended to. He answers sincerely and warmly, as he reaches to take the second towel for himself.]

I'm very grateful, my dear. Thank you. [A gentle caress to Berserker's wrist as he takes the towel for himself, needing it to clean the mess from his ass and legs and front- which he prefers to do for himself, really.

When that's done, he'll sit himself up and offer to take the last towel]

[ This is such weird territory for him that he's a little bit uncomfortable. There's a part of him that want to tell Everett no so he can get dressed and leave, but another part of him wants to push through the discomfort and accept the off.

The latter part wins. ]

... I'll let you, if that's what you want.

[ Because framing it that way is easier to accept. Accepting that he has his own wants is still so difficult. He's getting better about it, but it's a struggle. ]

It is. [Everett asserts, reaching for where he set aside his glasses, needing to see again. After that, he's gesturing for the dragon to be closer. Sitting himself on the edge of the bed, Everett reaches for his companion to dote upon him in turn. Running the clean, warm cloth over skin and scales, he reaches from his chest down to his groin. Clever as ever, his hands, just firm enough to get everything clean without being uncomfortable.

Berserker will be tidy as is possible with just that, rather than a proper bath. Everett will take a moment to look up and down the man, before settling on meeting his gaze, smiling all the while]
