[closed] Blood for Bucks quest with Atsushi
As far as the vampire population goes, Dazai is a lucky one. He has several friends who'd go out of their way to give him blood when needed. One of whom is his protege, who, while a Witch and ultimately has very tasty blood, would be more than happy to assist in the drive.
Which is why Dazai has sent him a message asking for his help today. He'll be waiting right inside the entrance of the bar, sprawled out on one of the leather chairs, positioned so he can see when Atsushi comes in.
As soon as that familiar face is spotted, he'll wave enthusiastically.]
Atsushi-kun! Over here!
no subject
[ Atsushi himself mirrors the wave with one of his own, grinning from ear to ear. He's gotten used to getting messages on the watches by now, even if he's not exactly entirely perfect at it just yet. And once he heard that he can actually help in a way that will actually benefit a bunch of vampires, there's no way that he could possibly say no.
Saving lives is kind of the duty he's chained himself to, after all. ]
I didn't take too long, did I?
no subject
Dazai wouldn't really mind. This is just a blood drive, after all, something that will probably go on for days.]
No, no. You're right on time! The first to arrive, in fact.
[Spinning around on one foot, he points toward some clear blood bags splayed out on a table.]
I've been assigned to fill as many of these as possible.
no subject
[ At least, that's from the stories that he's read, anyway. ]

[closed] Blood for Bucks quest with Flat
Oda would be proud of him for doing this. After all, it's a way to prove that he's going good things. He's working toward becoming and remaining a good person, even in this new world. (Maybe even especially in this new world, since Oda is alive and can see what he's up to.)
When Dazai hears the chime of the bell above the door ring, he turns his head and waves.]
Hello! Here for the blood drive?
no subject
[ flat's looking around the bar curiously, taking all the surroundings in. everything is so new and fascinating to him, after all--there's no way to not be excited about this! ]
Oh-- you're the one I chatted with before. The one that likes crab!
no subject
You're the one I explained about vampires to!
[A pause as he walks closer.]
I suppose you enjoyed my explanation enough to come here. [Tilting his head, he gestures toward the couch.] Have a seat!
no subject
[ he will take a seat though, where he tilts his head at dazai. ]
There's no biting, right?

[closed] Blood for Bucks quest with Everett
He has nothing better to do. He'd been able to propose to Oda without any difficulty, which was wonderful, but the actual ceremony would have to wait until some other time. Until the time for that is perfect, he'll have to just continue to work at the bar like a civilized human being. Working at a bar isn't the most exciting job, but it pays decently.
In the middle of reading a magazine, it takes a moment for Dazai to register that someone has entered the bar. When he does, he tosses the magazine onto the floor and jumps up from the couch with vigor.]
Welcome! Oh! [A nod.] Everett-kun! Are you here to donate blood?
no subject
Thought I might just find you here. I would be more weary of such an arrangement without a familiar hand to shake. [Dazai may not be... the most reliable sort of personality, in Everett's opinion, but he does have enough faith in Dazai to be put at ease by his presence. It'll be fiiiine.]
Does it count if I feed an employee?
no subject
This is my place of employment now. I had to leave the other cafe, since -- [A pause.] I can't work during the day. The sun and I are no longer friends.
[He does sigh at that, but his expression quickly changes to an upbeat one as he walks back over to the couch and gestures for his friend to sit.]
It does, though I think there are vampires who need the blood far more than I do.
no subject
Though, I supposed if I spend an evening here, I'll be the one drank from. Not the one drinking anything for myself. [does this place have normal alcohol? He's pretty sure that's a bad idea, after giving blood. Pretty sure that'll make him really pass out.]

[closed] Blood for Bucks quest with Dazai's favorite person
He'd be pretty bored otherwise. That, and with Oda here, he has to be on his 'best' behavior. He wants to be a good person, after all, even if working on becoming such a thing is admittedly difficult at times --
-- as proven by the feeling of disdain that floods over him when he sees who enters the establishment.]
No.
[He'll wave his hand in an effort to shoo Chuuya away.]
You're not giving blood here.
no subject
Hah? Why the hell not?
[ He still remembered what happened in that dream-thing not too long ago before arriving here so Dazai's attempted dismissal of him just came as just a bit more irritating. ]
no subject
This is to help vampires who can't reliably feed from others receive the blood they need.
[A pause.]
In other words, you're not the type of person to help. What are you doing here?
[He's here to annoy Dazai.]
no subject
It's a way to earn money when I don't have a damn thing to my name and was the more interesting one of the quests that were being offered.
[ Everything else had been entirely too mundane and he figured showing up to give some kinda donation wasn't gonna hurt any. Not like he wasn't used to losing blood or whatever. ]
Don't act like all I did this for was to come annoy the hell out of you. I didn't even know you worked here.

[closed] at the tailor shop with Towa
He's going to need a new outfit. A nice suit, preferably, since what he's wearing right now would be seen by most to be quite disheveled and torn. He'd been donning the same trench coat since his arrival, with a striped dress shirt and brown vest underneath.
Even though he'd normally think of wearing black for the upcoming wedding, he knows that doing so would bring back memories of a darker time, both physically and emotionally.
He should wear white.
After mulling over where to go to research suits and other fancier articles of clothing, he discovers a tailor shop that happens to be run by someone he'd spoken to in the recent past. He'll go and check it out; though, he'll have to do so during the day.
Don't mind the very pale, weak in stature man holding a large umbrella entering the shop. He's smiling, after all.]
Hello! I'm here to look for a suit.
no subject
It has it's quiet moments. During those times, she focuses on stocking and keeping things cleaned up in an organized manner. But she immediately puts that thought on hold when she hears a customer enter.]
Welcome--!
[And rather quickly, her normal cheer is boosted all that much more as she recognizes Dazai-- and his request.]
Oh! Dazai! A suit, huh?
[She couldn't keep the smile off her face if she tried.]
It sounds like everything's going really well for you.
no subject
He looks ridiculous doing this, but then again, the lump under his trench coat looks ridiculous, too. He unfortunately just looks that way nowadays.]
Yes, I was thinking a white one would work best.
[Even though his skin is incredibly pale, so perhaps not. He's not entirely sure, but he does know that wearing black would bring back too many memories of his Mafia days. There's a reason why he moved away from wearing that color.]
Things are going wonderfully, aside from my condition. I'm concerned I'm running on borrowed time.
[closed] asking the important questions with Chuuya
His former protege was gone. A part of him genuinely misses him now, and an even smaller part of him regrets not saying some words before the departure, but he's smart enough to know that dwelling on such things does no good. He'd made it about two weeks after Oda's death before he'd 'moved on,' though in that instance, he'd never truly moved past the pain.
He'd just hidden it away, and progressed forward to honor the last words he was told.
But now -- now, Dazai has to find another to bond with. He was comfortable with three -- two monsters and one witch, so he'd prefer to keep the numbers proportioned that way. Which means that he needs to find a monster.
He knows of one. Problem is, he isn't quite sure how to find him, as he doesn't know where he lives, so he'll send a message as soon as dusk breaks so that they can meet up in person.]
Chuuya~
Come meet me in front of the bar we'd spent a lovely time in a few days ago.
[He's antagonizing him with that message. He knows he is.]
no subject
Curiosity did eventually win out and he did end up finally responding after a moment or two. ]
'Lovely time', my ass.
What for? Something important or are you trying to waste time because you're bored?
[ Despite his irritation he wasn't outright saying no, and was starting to walk again. This time, heading back in the direction he knew that bar to be but not making to rush in case Dazai was just intending to mess with him. ]
no subject
[Is all he types out and sends before plopping right down onto the bench outside of the bar. Which, of course, isn't the most comfortable thing, but it's admittedly nice to just be outside after having to coop up indoors for the entire day.
There are times when Dazai genuinely misses the sun and the beautiful reflections of its rays on nature, but it's gotten to the point where he simply can't risk the danger of being caught under them at all.
The sun hurts.
Messing with his watch, Dazai realizes that it's taking Chuuya forever to arrive. Which means that his request may be getting ignored.
He'll send another message:]
What's taking so long?

[closed] Blood for Bucks quest with Eren
Well, there aren't that many job opportunities for vampires. Most establishments are open during the day; the sun is deadly, to say the least, so they aren't an option for him to work at.
Currently sprawled out on a chair near the entrance, Dazai flips through a magazine that he'd procured from the rack nearby. The rack full of magazines for anyone to read while they sip a blood cocktail or something similar.
He turns his head as soon as he hears the bell above the door chime, glancing toward who comes in. He smiles when he sees a familiar face.]
Here to donate?
no subject
of course, after he pinches the bells in place from making even more noise than they did. vampirism and dazai connect in a way that doesn't make eren surprised that he works here part time, and remembers the chat they had at the sly sea dog. ]
And for a meal after. [ donating blood makes you woozy. he'd rather take the credits than the money for his blood, if they were hellbent on repaying him. he helped a friend once, he'd do it again— and something as harmful as this to help plenty, he'd definitely sit through some needlework (funny that needles aren't the fondest of memories for him, but luckily he's past that). ] You're working?
no subject
Save for bat forms. Dazai still shudders at the thought of his own very disgusting, gigantic one.]
Oh, well -- [Turning his head to glance back at the counter, proper:] All of the food here is infused with blood. So, I don't know if I can help you there. [He does wonder if other monsters can consume blood without issue, but he'll ask that later.]
Yes! I've worked here for a short while now. [A pause.] Have you given blood before? [Back home, perhaps? Dazai has no idea, but he'll ask just so he knows how to prepare.]
