Walking 'Round in Cycles
Who: Bendy and Dave Strider
When: mid-Septeril
Where: starting from their shared home
What: C'mon pal, let's turn that frown upside down!!!
Warnings: n/a
In the grand scope of the city not that many people were gone, yet things seemed a lot quieter. Usually there was a constant bustle of activity, of conversation and business and preparation for whatever next festival sat on the horizon. Yet even as another event was underway, things seemed strangely subdued, a dampening quality in the air over the streets.
Not that one could really tell if they never went outside.
Bendy peeks over the arm of the sofa at his housemate, then ducks back down. Then one hand pops back up to grab a few molted feathers left poking haphazardly from the fabric. Bendy had made a habit of gathering the when he could, because they were pretty and soft. But that wasn't the point right now!
The two of them have changed dramatically over the months, but Dave hasn't much changed his routine to match--just a lot of hanging around on different pieces of furniture. Bendy was all for finding your own fun, but he had a lot of trouble imagining Dave was actually having a good time sulking about indoors. That's why he needed Operation Really Fun Day needed to go off without a hitch.
There's a soft "thump"ing sound against the couch, and Bendy spins to grab at his wagging tail and silently hush it. His tail droops, and Bendy peeks around at Dave again, this time around the side, waiting for his perfect moment to pounce.

Today he is spending it much like his usual days the last few weeks. Laying belly down on some furniture (today's choice: the sofa) because he can't be on his back, eyes shut in effort just to sleep again.
He, of course, doesn't always spend all day lazing around sleeping. Sometimes he goes out, sometimes he'll do an odd job for money, and sometimes he pays attention to Bendy doing something fucking cute, but today was a day he was planning on spending just like this.
Bendy was right: Dave wasn't having very much fun.
He also wasn't aware of him skulking around him, with little plans in his little head like dance cycle cartoons.
