Not to mention, hearing Dany's opinion about beasts makes Theseus completely sure about them getting along. It's definitely something that Newt would say about his beasts.]
I'm quite certain now that the two of you will get along well. [Maybe terrifying well.]
[Theseus stops babbling when he feels her hand on his arm, his curiosity soon replaced by a gentle, if accepting look. She definitely has him there.]
Most certainly. Family is everything.

There's a small smile on her features, wrinkles in the corner of her eyes and nose scrunched up just a bit. ]
You'll have to introduce me when we return then. [ A simple, respectable request. ] Someone important to me once said no one can survive in this world alone. It is good he is here with you.

This is Theseus' version of helping Newt, introducing him to all the people that also like dragons. Some good ol' bonding over dragons while he sweats about how dangerous dragons can be. It's fine. Probably.]
I'll be happy to. [Even though the last time he's seen Newt, he yelled at him. It was such a foolish argument to have and Theseus regrets many of the things he's said to him. But shifting away from those thoughts, Theseus looks at Dany with an inquiring, if somewhat nosy expression. All this talking about him and Newt and he's gotten a little sidetracked.]
How about yourself? Anyone that you can call upon here? I'm wagering a guess and assuming that you don't have an older brother that's here for you.

Her hands grasp together tightly. ]
I had a brother, but no. He was never there for me. It would not be different here. [ She corrects, one who had sold her for an army and paid for his own madness. If he was here now, she thinks, would he finally become the dragon he dreamed himself to be? No. She wonders if she would smash his mirror if given the chance. Tensely, she shakes her head – realigning her thoughts. ] My Queensguard is here. Ser Jorah Mormont – he is my most trusted sword and dearest friend. I feel a bit selfish for finding relief in him being here at my side, but...

From her fear of magic to now this, it's obvious to say that they've had far different lives, more than how he usually compares himself to muggles.]
That's a failure on his part more than anything else. [It's the only thing he really offers, but judging by the more somber look on Theseus, he's particularly upset to hear this. More than her fear of magic. Magic can certainly be frightening, that's understandable, but there's no real excuse for a terrible brother.]
Ser Jorah Mormont... he must be rather worried about you now. [He's glad that Dany has someone at least and he breaks his earlier serious mood with a small, if encouraging look.] I don't believe I've spoken to your Queensguard before, but I'm certain he'd rather be here, knowing that you have at least one person to turn to. No one can face everything by themselves.
[He's actually spoken to Jorah once, although they never introduced themselves to each other, but his stance would remain the same anyway.]

It is in the past. He is in the past.
[ And quickly, she interjects: ]
He will always worry, that is unavoidable. [ Her words carry almost fondly. How could he not? She has lead them so impulsively at times, he is rightful in worrying — but he never shows it. Not after she has reprimanded him for doubting her or speaking against her wishes. He picks that battle carefully now. ] You sound a lot like him, honestly.
[ Or maybe Dany was the outlier — the one who thought she could carry the world on her shoulders alone. She smiles briefly, lowering her head. ]
Your brother — is he afflicted with any monstrous traits since arriving or —?

Do I? I'll take that as a compliment! I think it's a trait of old men, just constantly worrying about someone or something. [He assumes Jorah's age here, but Theseus sounds far too cheeky to really backtrack on what he just said anyway. And despite the slight humor uplifting his earlier words, there's honestly a lot of things that he's quite worried about, back home it's Grindelwald and Newt, and right now it's Dorchacht and... Newt.
There might be a slight pattern here.]
Oh, no he's like me, we're both Witches here. Do think we both lucked out on that department. [He doesn't wholly notice how his words may sound a bit off putting, just continuing on like normal.] The magic's here different, but adaptable on a whole. Can't imagine a life without being able to use it!

[ He may be throwing that charm out and playing cheeky, but she is truthfully sincere with her words. ]
I'd say. Friendly with magic, dancing with luck — [ It seems like he fits right in and part of her is envious for it. ] ...I'm glad you — er, find comfort in it, then. Some familiarity does the heart good.

[He bows lightly at her and while it's mostly a playful sort of gesture, he is genuinely glad that he's been able to help relieve some of the tension that's been pulling at her. Theseus doesn't ask where Jorah is right now, figuring that he's probably doing something important-- a task he's been set on. It's not like he follows Newt everywhere he goes either, despite the other getting injured TWICE NOW...
Theseus straightens up and nods, he's definitely been lucky in more ways than one.]
You mentioned before that magic has not been kind to you. [He won't prod for those details yet, but.] If you'd like, back in Aefenglom when things are far quieter, I can discuss some of the magic from my own world. You know, mostly the good stuff.

He makes a nice impact on her, humbles her heart when it begins to steel itself and opens her up when she was distant. There's a noble nod, one slow and deliberate in an approving way. ]
It has not. [ She admits, but does not go into detail. His offer does make her brow perk, a hesitance in her eyes but slowly... she forces a small smile on her face. ] ... Only the good, then.
