[open] pre-gaming, the dignitary variety
Who: Anyone invested in the Dorchacht Dilemma or planning to visit Dorchacht through the event.
When: Septeril 1st, late evening
Where: The Sly Seadog
What: Planning
Warnings: Who the eff knows
[ It was getting late in the evening, but it was crucial to meet up. Daenerys – with the help of some more technologically savvy people – offered invitations to anyone who seemed interested in the affair with Dorchacht.
They meet at the Sly Seadog: a run-down little dive of a tavern, found along a narrow back-alley in the harbour, frequented by sailors, welcoming to Monsters and humans alike. The crowd is dense for this early in the "night", but still a few drunkards pawning off their last bit of money for a little bit more booze.
It was not up to a standard she would prefer, but it's something and it's relatively quiet. Three long tables can fit enough people for their meeting – and there's some standing room at the bar. Time to get down to business, right?
Feel free to top level, make points, argue, etc. ]

so, he tugs the fabric of his poncho back and lifts his arm to reveal his wingspan, inked and bleeding (slightly) from the symbols pricked into membrane. he points at one specifically newer than the rest, one that seems to be scribbled on that he will later get permanent as the rest of them. ]
Yako Katsuragi and Hiccup remember the runes used by the resistance. You can get them carved onto jewels and stones, before you go. [ or . . . ] Or on yourself, if you’re willing.
[ it’s a small price to pay, he figures. ]
I’d do it sooner rather than later, while you still have more skin.
[ it’s why he had to go with his wings— dragon scales are too tough to penetrate with needles in some places. ]

How are we gathering these runes...? Are they able to be purchased here?
[ She, personally is not willing for the embedded body horror and will go the jewelstone route. ]

[ he just doesn’t trust his body to stay small anymore, either. he saw her reaction though, and with some ease: ]

[ his wings fold under the poncho. with enough talented hands, artists and engravers alike . . . ]
With the amount of monsters in each group, it’s possible. There shouldn’t be only one skilled lapidary in the city.

[ Better than going without any clue and powerless. ]
If this is truly an emissary trip, I do not believe they will allow weaponry so that leaves us planning defensively. The runes are at least a crucial benefit to our dignitaries.

[ it’s her city and her coven that’s under some trouble, not just the mirrorbound. not only that, but the ones who stay behind take care of themselves. if something were happen to them, it’d mean trouble either way. aefenglom’s parliament was split. her lupine wife, eren has a better feel for. not that they wouldn’t all throw them under a bus if the correct circumstances were to align, so . . . that’s where this comes in. ]
You dignitaries won’t be alone, either.
