There was always shelter [Open!]

Who: All of you!
When: Aguril 23rd
Where: In Haven, specifically the mansion by the dragon boys
What: We all need some chill, time to get some chill.
Warnings: Tea drugs, so much pizza, possible angst, tba

Her announcement said it all; it was going to be some time to chill out and enjoy possibly sleeping or at least resting properly the first time in a week or so. There was the garden that was starting to grow well; there were a few heated rocks and blankets spread out; there was the smell of baked goods and tea in the air, with cups ready.

There were only two rooms that were forbidden, as shown by the ribbon on the doors: Caren's room and...well, looking inside there was a bedroom, and those who were aware before knew who it belonged to.

Otherwise, it's a large mansion with plenty of room to spread around. Flop down with your blankets, pillows, whichever-or use the supplies or cene to make sure that Caren can make a personal pizza.

Else, take a cup and see about taking a chance to calm down and breathe.

Tea & Relaxing to the point of Accidentally Falling Asleep.

[Justine has taken Caren up on her offer of spending both the day and night within her friends home. It's large and seemingly foreboding for someone to live in alone and Justine believes that Caren might need the company as much as she does.

She brings over a vast collection of blankets and sets them in the main family room for those who need to find a blanket but don't want to look very far.

A few of those blankets join her in front of a window where sunlight splays in gleaming hues across the floor. Justine is sitting in a little nest of blankets with her bare feet covered for warmth. She's dressed for a lazy day around the house in lose comfortable fabric. Her dark hair gleams in the afternoon sunlight as she sips at her tea. It's very relaxing.

Too relaxing.

Justine's eyes flutter close and she drifts into a light sleep. Anyone sitting next to her might find her resting her head absently on their shoulder.]

Trying to Help.

[In between pizza, tea and impromptu naps, Justine can be found all over the house. She's either tidying up or cleaning up some abandoned tea cups. More than a few people have come and gone and Justine doesn't want to leave the mess for Caren to handle alone though she's sure that her friend likely wouldn't mind.

Cleaning is therapeutic for Justine and she uses that time to let her thoughts settle.

Hopefully she doesn't clean up any tea that hasn't been entirely forgotten.]

Wild Card.

[ooc: let me know if you want something with Justine since she'll be around Caren's for awhile. She likes having friends, it's weird.]

[ Han had come for the food. They didn’t really have pizza where he’d come from, so he had to admit that he was intrigued by the idea of finding out what he was missing.

He had stayed for the tea, though. The promise of relaxation in this place where he’d been able to do very little relaxing on his own, was just too tempting to pass on. So while he’s sipping from his mug of tea and becoming a little to relaxed himself ... he ends up falling asleep himself.

With his body pushed up against the wall and his head lulled back, he doesn’t even notice that someone else might have used his shoulder as a pillow. ]

[His should isn't particularly comfortable but the relaxing tea and the warmth of the evening sun had lulled Justine into a light fitful sleep. Her legs stretch out along his side while her arms gently intertwine with his.

She moves unconsciously towards the warmth his body provides but in the process she shifts and her cheek slowly glides off his shoulder before abruptly dropping, jarring her from her sleep.]

Oh.

[She's groggy and it takes her a moment to realize what'd happened.]

[ Now it is a bit of a surprise to have someone in process of really curling up to him, but he doesn’t mind all that much.

If nothing else been snuged up to like that, for Han, reminded him of being a kid again. There had been nights where the temperature had dropped so sharply on Corellia that you couldn’t help curing up to the next person for a little extra warmth. ]

Hey. Sorry if I moved.

[Justine gently shakes her head from left to right.]

No. It's alright. I hope your aren't uncomfortable. [She gently rubs her eyes and stretches her legs or in front of them before once again curling up.]

This is nice.

I just hope you don't mind.

No, I don’t mind at all.

[ He really had to look into learning more about the herbs and supplements here. He hadn’t expected ‘tea’ to knock him out like this.

When Justine is wiggling to stretch out a little, Han sits up a little straighter. He ends up cracking his back in the process, but he’s definitely not trying to get away. This person that he ended up snugged in next to seemed nice enough. ]

I’m Han.

[Their last dream experience had been stressful and while Justine isn't naturally an open person, she thrives under the light comforting touches of another person. Not always as innocent as this but it's a comfort and one that she won't abandon as long as her partner doesn't seem to mind.]

I'm Justine.

[She rests her head on his shoulder, sending midnight hair spilling down his chest.]

Thank you for letting me borrow you as a pillow. If I didn't know better, I'd think you'd had practice. [Her tone is light, warm and playful. Justine doesn't want to have to take anything too seriously right now.]

[ Han is full of concern for other people as well as light touches. It isn’t lost on him that Justine is awfully pretty, but he’s not really angling to put his hands on her. Since he and Qi’ra hadn’t really made the quick exit he thought they would ... maybe it was time to get to know people around here better. ]

My years of pillow training are finally paying off.

[ He’s hoping that the joke he cracked will make her smile. He’s also into keeping things more playful than serious. ]

Should I scoot over a little bit or am I good here?

[Her lips quirk into a warm smile.]

I am happy to reap the benefits.

[Justine laughs softly and shakes her head.]

Only if you scoot closer.

[She knows that she's pretty and while she doesn't know Han at all, she enjoys the company and the chance to get to know him more. He's cute and it's rare for her to find someone as skilled at flirting as she is.]

[ Han’s lips quirk up into a slight smile. He’s starting to feel pretty glad he came to this party. ]

Like this?

[ And he does, in fact, move closer to her. To the point where he is pressed right into her side or she into his, whichever. ]

[A low throaty chuckle rises to her lips. Justine finds that Han is muscular and well built as she slides her leg against his and rests comfortably against his side. The sleepy haze of the drug hadn't ebbed but had lulled her into a state of pleasant relaxation.

This... she needed.]

Mmm? [She hums sweetly.] Yes.

If you keep this up I'll never move.

Is that a threat or a promise, Justine?

[ Good genes had given Han a tall frame and wide shoulders, but all the muscle she was appreciating had come on much more recently. He had been a scrawny kid and hadn’t really filled out until his military days.

Was it too much to put his hand on her thigh? Considering it was now grazing up against him, it didn’t seem that out of bounds. She’s probably the type that would tell him if he went too far. Possibly. Maybe. ]

A little bit of both.

[She looks up at him with a coy smile.]

Would you like that? [The touch of his palm against her leg summons a little smile to her lips. Justine would never ask someone to stop. She desires the escape and if he's willing to give it to her, who is she to complain?]

[ It’s not typical for Han to be so smitten by someone he’s just met, but it’s been a pleasant surprise. So far he feels like Justine is clever and pretty and it’s just kind of nice to be noticed in a good way. ]

Yeah. [ The agreement seems to tumble out of his mind without much thought. ] Would you?

[She reaches up and lightly brushes her fingers across his forehead, tucking a few strands of chestnut hair behind his ear in their process. She wonders if they were the same age, if there lives were similar in some way but it's also easier not knowing. Each life has pain and this city has been a constant pain since Justine's arrival months before.

Sometimes it's better not knowing.]

I would.

This is a party and I enjoy such cute company.

[Justine smiles gently, feeling the heady weight of the tea relaxing her muscles and mind.]
