[ to be the object of scapegoated negative feelings is nothing new to him. now, he's no avenger, certainly, but he knows one ... and rather well. being the first in servant history as the sole target of a lifetime of artistic jealousy gets one accustomed to situations like this.

still, the near vicinity of the pharaoh's space quickly transforms into a delicate minefield, and makes things tricky for him as one who is both recklessly honest and yet very much a fan of being physically intact.

yes, he's not one to lie, but he wonders — too late — if he's already said too much on someone else's behalf.

Well, you see, I gave my name, and the nature of Servants came into question following that. Naturally. [ oh, the price of fame. ] I don't believe I told them too much, but they seemed to think that was a condition worth worrying about.

[Someone hand this man a shovel because he seems intent to keep on digging even when presumably attempting not to. Ozymandias doesn't lash out, but the tingling of magic he's felt in his fingers is certainly growing a little more pressing.]

That seems an odd conclusion for anyone to draw for you to not have said "too much."

[Not that Ozymandias feels there's particularly anything that could be said about him as a Servant that would lead anyone to feel concern for him. He is among one of the oldest and most powerful of Servants. Knowledge of that should have the opposite effect, or so Ozymandias would assume as it speaks to his resiliency and strength.]

That leads me to wonder what you said that would lead them to think of me as not only weak but in need of concern. I would not think you stupid enough to spread falsehoods like that, Caster.
