beside me a kingdom of spirit
Who: Greyjay and YOU?
When: Post-Parliament
Where: All over! The town, the forest, and the barracks.
What: Open post. If you'd like your very own shiny starter, let me know.
Having grown used to constantly being surrounded by an ever changing, often grouchy collection of mercenaries, the barracks were a little too big for Greyjay's tastes but they were as good a place to live as any. A few other people around, his own room with a proper bed (what luxury!), and even a little ledge to put up his belongings.
It wasn't until he'd made his decision about the Bond that he went out into the city to gather up what he'd need for a small shrine. A curl of rope (used in a slaughterhouse would do if there was no convenient hangman), a bowl, a single drying mushroom, and a whetted dagger. The final piece took the most effort, but he found a dying tree that had the right feel to it and broke away a branch to carve. All of this he took back to his room.

But he's been around more since the full moon, the night when Papyrus transformed and howled and broke his room's door on his way out of the building... and he's mostly finished his repairs. The door and door frame are like brand new, and most of the damage was to his own personal effects. But once he started on the carpentry project, it all spiraled from repairs to improvement. The once bare barracks room has gained a lot of shelving, a flowerbox out the window, and so forth.
He's just heading back there now, a book in hand, when he sees neighbor Greyjay heading by with that bundle of oddities. The skeleton slows to squint at them, tilting his head quizically. What could require a mushroom and rope?
"Hello there, are you... in the middle of an art project?"

"There's no temple or anything here, not for my patron, and I thought it a safe plan to put together a shrine. If I die tomorrow, I'd like to know that I'll be found."

"Does your patron use worship places as landmarks for finding you...?"

"With my luck, I'd end up in divine limbo, lost in eternal paperwork, or some dull heaven."
