[ But where does Sora even get that competitive nature? Probably Vanitas/Ventus truth to be told. Anyway. Vanitas is making a little show of fussing with Sora's ear - as if inspecting it before releasing it. ]

I regret nothing.

[ He'll take the few moments to dig around for his own gifts. Now Vanitas isn't really confident about them but...

His eyebrow raises at the suggestion. However Sora does have a point - ]

[He gets his competitive nature from Ventus and Vanitas and a little from competing with Riku all the time growing up too. He just can't let down a good challenge no matter what or how dumb it is.

He swats gently at Vanitas for the fussing with his ear and when he's released from the fussy fingers he can finally pull out one of the gifts he has for the other boy. It's a simple gift box wrapped in blue and silver. He grins quite proudly when he passes it over.]

Here, this is the first one! Hurry, open it up!

[Inside is going to be... surprise! A handmade toy. Remember when Sora had said they should make gifts? Sora might have gotten a little guidance on his but the gift will reveal a big fat-looking rabbit plush. It's a little lopsided and the eyes are funny but Sora's effort is there (but it's really not too hard to make a round ball). Cute, right?]

[ And, of course, Vanitas opens it all up. No tearing paper to shreds. It's all very methodical and so he can set it aside neatly.

He takes the plush out and he knows that the craftsmanship isn't the best, but that's not the point now is it? Vanitas holds it this way. That way. Then he starts to snicker. ]

Are you trying to show me what you'd look like as an actual rabbit?

[The snicker makes him grin. Sora wasn't aiming to blow Vanitas out of the water with this. It was mean to earn him that laugh. He grins so warmly.]

Round and fat! [He laughs too.] If I was a real rabbit I think I'd be way too round.

[He can make fun of himself!]

Do you like it? I made it myself!

[ Vanitas hums. He leans over and pokes at Sora's gut. ]

Are you trying to tell me something about you there, Cottontail?

[ Which is good because Vanitas is going to tease right back. ]

I'm going to set it out in the living room so everyone can see it.

I dunno, do I look a little chubby? Would you still like me?!

[Sora laughs and pats his own tummy.]

And good, everyone can take in my awesome stitching skills. I only poked my finger twice.

Hmmm. Afraid I might have to dump you if you become too plush.

[ He's joking. Completely joking. It'll be a cold day you know where before that happens at this point. ]

Though congratulations on only stabbing yourself a couple of times. I thought it would be more.

Oh no! [Sora dramatically puts his hand to his chest.] Well, I guess it was fun while it lasted!

[He starts snickering playfully.]

I told you, I'm better at making stuff then you think I am though! It's cute, right?

As much as it pains me to admit...

[ Vanitas is squeezing the plush here and there. Huffing. ]
