[He grabs the niffler by the scruff of its neck and has the creature settle in his lap. The creature is busy looking at the coin now in its paws before it tucks it into the pouch on its tummy.]

Yes. He's a niffler. A bit common from where I hail from, actually. I'm more used to them though, I suppose. I grew up with these being a bit of a normalcy, but I know that's not really the case for most.

[ That's an absolutely adorable word. ]

No, though this is an entirely different world, and each has it's own endemic species and unique qualities.

[ She smiles lightly, letting her hands fall to her lap. ]

I imagine these could become quite a nuisance getting into everyone's things...albeit a very cute one.

Your features are a little unique to what I've seen before. [Which isn't bad. Merely an observation. Even her appearance isn't the strangest thing he has seen as far as people go, though. It's hard to be surprised when people have magic and means to change their appearance back home.]

Oh, he's an absolute nightmare sometimes. He got loose in a bank. [Which was Bad.] And a jewelry store. That's two times that I've had guns pointed at me in such a short amount of time, honestly. [It isn't the first time though.]

[ She is a little surprised by his observation. Humans and Alteans do look so very similar in most ways, even she is constantly discovering cultural differences. ]

[The creature squirms a little before looking at Allura with black, beady eyes. It eventually raises a paw towards her. Either he's waving in greating, or he's reaching out because he still wants the shiny jewelry she has. It's a toss up.]

Altean. I can't say that I'm familiar with the word. [How intriguing!]

Many people find them a nuisance because of their affinity to shiny objects. Pests even. I can't say they aren't completely wrong, but they can be trained to be a little better about it.

Well, he's mine, even if he drives me a little nuts at times.

[ Well, he's not getting her jewelry, so he'll get a wave instead. Hopefully that's acceptable to Harry. ]

[ There's a lot in this place that's unfamiliar to her. it's very likely that Alteans never reached this place. ]
