[Clark smiles, apparently taking that reply as something nicer than it was intended as. As far as he can tell, the horse-man might be moody, but he isn't a bad guy. The criticism sounds more like concern than a threat of any sort.]

Then it's a good thing I bumped into you rather than anyone else.

[Okay, so he might be teasing him a little bit, but only because Clark is getting comfortable with him. He gets the feeling that his grumpy friend really cares.]

I saw some buildings when we first got here that I wanted a closer look at. I have to go to the residential district to see them, but will you come with me?

[Whether it's because he's 6'5" or because he has a permanent scowl on his face, people tend not to pick Dylas as a random person on the street to talk to. He's always found himself surrounded by brave people who were willing to take on any amount of unknown danger, something he's always admired about his friends. They don't have to be the biggest or strongest to face whatever comes.]
