Wow. Will you get a load of this idiot? Those are the first words that come to mind, but it's a good thing he doesn't voice them—because he wouldn't really be meaning them if he did. That sort of 'too optimistic,' 'I'm happy to meet you' attitude doesn't fit well on his own shoulders, but he's always been a little jealous of the people who can wear those words.

He looks away, feeling properly scolded.

"That's a pretty optimistic way of looking at things. I think you must've hit your head on the mirror coming through if you're that happy to meet me," he starts, his tone still stubbornly standoffish. "But I guess not everything you're saying is wrong."

To be fair, Yako would probably agree with the assessment of 'idiot' (with a smile, even) but she startles when she realizes she's gone on for ... well, much longer than she'd intended to. She doesn't think she's changed his mind about it, but she'll tentatively reach out to touch her fingers to his shoulder, hoping to gently draw his attention back to her.

"I wouldn't say I'm right about everything, either," she grins. "But that's why it's important to talk to others and see the world from a different point of view." Pocketing her watch, she brushes her clothes down and glances at Dylas.

"I think I'd like to go find out a bit more about where we are now. What about you?"

"You can talk to others and figure things out all you want, then. I'm not so great at that."

The touch to his shoulder makes him jump a little, and there's a louder thud next to him where his tail bumps against the seat harder. When Dylas is distracted, he's really distracted. It's a little embarrassing, and he wishes he hadn't done that, but it's too late.

"I'm going to...listen to the rest of what everyone else is saying. I'll see you around, I guess."

The noise doesn't startle Yako, though she can't help glancing over at it for a moment, curiously. So his tail gives away quite a lot of what he's thinking, huh...?

"I'm sure we'll see each other," Yako agrees, tapping the pocket she put the watch into for emphasis. "Take care of yourself, Mr. Dylas."

With that, she turns to head out into the rest of the Coven, and try to figure out a little more about what sort of place it is they've found themselves in...
