Mm - different figures from my world's mythology and folklore. My primary one is Izanagi, effectively one of two creation gods in Japanese legend.

The others are manifestations brought on by the collective consciousness of mankind, so they reflect what we know of their folklore and tales, but I don't think they're the exact representation.

No, only some people. There were special circumstances that they went through to actually accomplish it, and it's a dangerous process, plus a deeply personal one that can be hard to face.
